REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION, FITTINGS AND FIXTURES, INCLUDING EARTHING IN INHS PATANJALI and MES OFFICE COMPLEX OTM ACCN AT CORE AREA IN NAVAL BASE UNDER GE(SB) KARWAR.

Rectifying defects in domestic fluorescent tube/CFL light fittings/wall security light fittings of any type and at any height, including ceiling roses and electric bells, by tightening loose connections and attending minor defects, testing and making functional, complete all as specified and directed.

Opening switch mounting plate at normal height up to 1.5 m, rectifying defects in fittings/fixtures such as switches, bell push, fan regulator, sockets etc. by tightening loose connections, refixing switch plate and testing to make functional, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 1.00 & 2.00: The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include labour only for rectifying defects and making the fittings/fixtures functional. Where replacement of parts/items is required, labour and material for such replacement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant “S&F in repairs” items of this Schedule, and in such cases these items shall not be measured/paid.

Taking down carefully copper point wiring (light, fan, socket and power) complete(fittings to be measured separately) and making good surfaces of walls/floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for surface point wiring 1100 volts grade 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS unsheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking in and including PVC casing & capping medium grade with all accessories on wall/ceiling /floor/roof etc, sunk pressed steel or cast iron terminal boxes with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet top cover including 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS unsheathed cable 1100 volts multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking as continuous earth wire connected to common earth dolly all as specified and directed for the following:

a. One light / fan point controlled by one switch

b. One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on same board with other switches.

c. One 5 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on independent board.

d. One 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet independent but below the switch board of light points in the same vertical plate.

All as per item No 4.00 above but with cables 2.5 Sqmm for one light/fan point on independent board and size of earthing cable 2.50 Sqmm

All as per item No 4.00 above but with cables 2.5 Sqmm for one 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amps on independent board and size of earthing cable 2.50 Sqmm

All as per item No 4.00 above but with cables 4 Sqmm for one 3 pin socket outlet 15 Amps on independent board and size of earthing cable 4 Sqmm

M&L for concealed point wiring 1100 Volts grade 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS sheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking through existing conduit, sunk pressed steel or cast iron terminal boxes and 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet top cover including 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS sheathed cable 1100 Volts multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking as continuous earth wire connected to common earth dolly all as specified and directed for the following:

(a) One light/fan point controlled by one switch .

(b) One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on same board with other switches.

(c) One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on independent board.

All as per item No 8.00 above but with cables 4.00 Sqmm for one 3 pin socket outlet 15 Amps on independent board and size of earthing cable 4 Sqmm.

Supply and fixing in repairs LED mirror-type light fitting with high output diffuser, 2 feet, 10 Watt, 220 V AC, decorative type, complete with integral driver, holder and LED lamp, including connecting up with 3-core flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repairs MCB TPN, 16 to 32 Amps, ''C'' series 415 Volts, 3 phase, 10 KA capacity all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repairs MCB TPN, 40 to 100 Amps, ''C'' series 415 Volts, 3 phase, 10 KA capacity all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repairs MCB Single Pole Neutral, 32 Amps, ''C'' series 230 Volts, Single phase, 10 KA capacity all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repairs MCB SP, 6 to 32 Amps, 'C' series 230 Volts, Single phase, 10 KA capacity all as specified and directed.

Taking down ceiling fan / exhaust fan of any sweep, dismantling, replacing unserviceable minor parts, overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, applying one coat of enamel paint, reassembling, refixing/hanging in original position, making necessary connections and testing to make functional, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include minor items such as nuts, bolts, split pins, rubber bushes/wheels etc. (b) Capacitor and bearings shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule. (c) Rewinding of fan shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule.

Supply and fix in repairs capacitor of 2.5 mfd for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs capacitor of 4.5 mfd for exhaust fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs bearing No. 6201/6202/6203 suitable for ceiling fan/exhaust fan complete all as directed.

M&L for removing burnt-out winding from ceiling fan of any make, 1200 mm to 1400 mm sweep, including opening the fan, removing/cutting out old winding wire, cleaning slots and core, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of same size/gauge as existing, including insulation materials, varnishing, drying, reassembling, testing and refixing in position, complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No.19 above but exhaust fan of 300 mm sweep.

Description all as per item No.19 above but exhaust fan of 380 to 600 mm sweep.

M&L for removing burnt-out winding from industrial axial exhaust fan of any make, 450 mm sweep, including opening the fan, removing/cutting out old winding wire, cleaning slots and core, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of same size/gauge as existing, including insulation materials, varnishing, drying, reassembling, testing and refixing in position, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs STREAK NEO LED batten fitting complete with twin LED Retrofit T-8 tubes having integral LED driver, energy efficient, 22 W (4 feet), complete in all respects including taking down old conventional type tube-light fitting, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells Cat Part No. STREAKNEOT8UPTO2X22WSSBSWH / Wipro / Philips or equivalent.

S&F in repairs surface/wall mounted REGAL type batten complete with LED tube-light with integral LED driver, energy efficient, 20 W / 22 W (4 feet), complete in all respects including taking down old conventional type tube-light fitting, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down sub-main wiring cable of any number of runs along with earth wire, from existing installation, whether concealed or surface conduit, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sub-main wiring with two runs of single core PVC insulated FRLS multistranded copper conductor cable, 1100 V grade, conforming to IS:694 with ISI marking, size 4 sqmm, and one run earth continuity conductor of PVC insulated FRLS, 4 sqmm, drawn through PVC casing-capping, including all accessories, complete for sub-main wiring in walls/roof, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Two runs of cable 4 Sqmm, one run of 4.0 Sqmm cable and one run of PVC casing capping conduit shall be measured as one running meter unit.

S&F in repairs exhaust fan made of sturdy engineering plastic complete with louver shutter, 230 V, 50 Hz, RPM 1200, copper winding, sweep 300 mm, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Old unserviceable exhaust fan shall be deposited in MES store by the contractor.
