REPAIRS AND RESURFACING TO CERTAIN ROAD AT AIR FORCE STATION PANAGARH

Material & Labour for repairs to pot holes of any depth exc 30mm and n.exc. 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 grade, putting in premix bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen VG-30 grade @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blended with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of pre-mixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for preparation of old bituminous/ black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @ 3 kg per 10 sqm with paving bitumen (grade VG 10) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for premix bituminous macadam laid /rolled and compected to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen VG 30 grade as binder minimum 4% by weight of total mix, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- If the requirment of bitumen as per design mix is more than 4% the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to the Govt.

Material & Labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SADC) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of grade VG 30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compected to required comber and gradient complete using hot mix plant and machanical paver rolled with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Notes: 1. Premix SDAC shall be procured from a Hot Mix Plant . 2. Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design Mix as specified. 3. Minimum 5.5 % of binder shall be used. However, in case more than 5.5% binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost). 4. Binder content and density testing equipment should be readily available at site during work.

Material & labour for preparation bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on road/ pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for preparation of previously treated surfaces to receive painting and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on brick, stone, plaster or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflactive made out of PMMA and mountedon 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of qreen, red, and yellow reflector redium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make:- Dark Eye/3M/TATA/BP/Road Star/Oskar as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x25mm (shank 65mm) of high effiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mod completed as per manufactures instructions etc all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark Eye/3M/TATA/BP/Road Star/Oskar as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing retro reflective raised pavement markers (Cate eye) double sided lens reflector of size 90x110x17mm white/red/yellow polycarbonate/ABS plastic body including epoxy adhesive & drilling etc, and necessary fixing harware of standard size, shape/colour, body & lens completed all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make:- Dark Eye/3M/Green lite/Automat

Supply and fixing retro reflective sticker with letter or figure on ACP sheet (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) not exc 30 cm in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensive grade, pasted or substrate by pressure senstive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the existing plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, revets or bolts & nuts @ 300mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows alongwith theft resistant measures, as specified as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for stainless steel hollow sections or steel plate of any thickness incl cutting to shape/size required and connecting together by means of welding /rivetting and embedding in concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5cum getting out, returning, filling in and remaining earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour PCC 1:2:4, type B2 with using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixing only PVC portable speed bumps (Model-5Z4PSB) of size 500x340x100mm fixed with nut & bolt/adhesive (min 08 Nos bolts/RM) and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:- Dark Eye/3M/TATA/BP/Road Star/Oskar as approved by GE.
