SH:-REPAIRS_TO_BUILDINGS Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Painting (one or more coats) on rain water, soil, waste and vent pipes and fittings with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture and required colour on old work: a) 100 mm diameter pipes

b) 150 mm diameter pipes

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: a) One or more coats on old work.

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade a) Old work(Two or more coats applied @1.67Kg/sqm )on existing cement paint surface)

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. metres and under including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead. a) With cement mortar 1:4(1cement :4 fine sand)

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty: a) Float glass panes of thickness 4 mm.

Re-grading terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in cement by dismantling tiles or bricks, removing mud plaster, preparing the surface of mud phaska to proper slope, relaying mud plaster gobri leaping and tiles or bricks, grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) including replacing unserviceable tiles or bricks with new ones and disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground (the cost of the new tiles or brick excluded) within 50 metres lead.

Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for repointing or replastering, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Flush pointing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement for flat tile bricks on top of mud phaska : a) With F.P.S. brick tiles

Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto 2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleachingpowder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaningon the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The old date alreadywritten on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made@ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damagedthat is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account)

Providing and fixing PVC cover of approved make for water storage tanks of capacity 500 to 1000 litres along with locking arrangement all complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge.
