PROVISION OF INTERNAL ROAD CONNECTING STORAGE ACCN AND MAIN ROAD AT SHESHARTHANG (PH-III OF III PHs) UNDER GE(I) (P) No. 2

Amount

M & L for surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation, pipes etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Spreading and levelling soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick and well ramming including rolling and watering as required complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Soil obtained from item No. 1 to 3 shall be used for making berms and in low lying areas as directed by GE.

Returning filling in including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces with power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne including filling (if required) in hollow and depressions, soft spots etc, which occur during rolling, watering as necessary and consolidating (for portion coming in cutting/original ground only) to required level, camber and gradient, keeping roller wheels wet etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for soling (or sub base) 200mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders (granite/ trap/ basalt stone) of size range 100mm to 50mm deposited, spread, levelled in one layer, interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in two layers of 75mm thick each layer, WMM grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for road works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road works 2013.

M & L for preparation of Unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bituminous primer (VG-10 grade) at 10 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Premix Bituminous Macadam with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) laid, rolled and compacted (using 8 to 12 tonne vibromax power roller) to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with VG-10 grade bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen after necessary preparation of black top bituminous surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete carpet 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) any penetration, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction upto removal of complete voids is achieved complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast factory made kerb stone of size 450x150x200 mm, providing and laying at or near ground level of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line ,level and curvature , joined with cement mortar 1: 3 ( 1 cement and 3 course sand ) including making joints with or without grooves ( thickness of joint except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5 mm ) including making drainage opening where ever required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, including use of necessary form works for rough finished surface complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Walling of random rubble stone (Granite/ Basalt/ Trap) masonry, uncoused, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in Cement Mortar 1:4 as in retaining walls, abutments or similar works etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto courses, hammer dressing with max depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface n. exc 20 mm in Granite ot trap stone complete all as specified.

M & L for keyed pointing in Cement Mortar 1:4 to random rubble stone masonry, polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses complete all as specified and as directed .

M & L for PCC 1:2:4, type B 1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregete as in coping incliuding use and waste of necessary formwork for fair finished surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay 450mm bore dia reinforced cement concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed with collars, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to 450mm bore drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding the pipe with concrete after they laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.
