M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M&L applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 sqm (VG-10) using paving bitumen over black bitumenous surfaces.

M&L providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness using mechanical paver with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitument VG-10, rolled using power roller 8 to 12 ton capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient complete. Note : (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the government.

M&L repairs to pot holes not exceeding one sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to atleast exc 30 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, using bitumen, grade VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, using bitumen grade VG-10, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well ramed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exceeding 30 mm complete.

M&L providing premix bituminious macadam using HMP laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder with paving bitumen VG-10 minimum 4% by weight of total mix all as specified (consolidated thickness 75 mm or loss). Note : (i) work shall be executed as per design mix done from Govt Approved Lab (NABL)/Govt Engg College as approved by GE. (ii) The binder content specified is minimum any variation in binde content during mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for preparing of old/new bituminous surface of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactureres instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300 mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed including taking down of existing one all as specified and directed.

Due to speically designed body and reflectors fixation method their reflctivity and durability remain for a long life. S&F in repair safety Bollard are used T guide the traffic for safe direction it is generally installed at the crossing. The bollard consists of one plastic square plate one MS Round plate and one message plate fitted on 1825mm MS pipe dia 57mm duly powder coated, plastic plate size 385x385x is fitted with nine reflectors made of PMMA of 100mm dia welded ultrosonically on plastic plate. MS round plate of 405mm dia is fitted below the square plate on the MS pipe with clamps HIG grade reflective tape in blue colour is pasted on the round plate with directional arrow in white colour. MS plate of 305mmx75mm is fitted below the round plate for messages Model No DA 952SB.
