Impregnating cream for injection into masonry or concrete wall 230mm thick against capilary rising humidity. Method of Application Methodology (a) The surface must be sound, absorbent, clean, free of dust, oil, paint, curing agents, loose cement or lime plaster & concrete, debris, or any separation layers. (b) The plaster must be knocked off at least 50cm beyond the visibly penetrated area. (c) Damaged mortar joints are to be scraped out to a depth of approximately 2-3cm. All sharp edges/joints needs to be levelled, loose concrete to be removed. (d) Drill boreholes at ground level horizontally. The boreholes are drilled horizontal into the masonry. (e) The holes should be drilled until a depth of approx 5cm (for a 6cm thick wall) before the end of the all is reached. The boreholes should have a diameter of 12mm upto a maximum of 15mm and should be spaced approx 100 to 120mm apart and the vertical offset is 6cm max. (f) Before inserting Rising Bar Super Strong or equivalent the boreholes must be cleaned from boring dust by using air pressure, it is not necesary to pre-wet the borehole. (g) For applying of Rising Bar Super Strong or equivalent the dosing system inserted as far as possible into the borehole. While dosing the product uniformly, the injection nozzle is pulled out leading to a completely filled borehole. (h) Treatment of highly absorbent masonry might require repeated filling of the borehole. Depending upon extent of damage, Rising Bar Super Strong or equivalent can be re-injected into the same hole after 24hrs. Depending on abosrbency, application or masony thickness 0.1 to 0.15 litre/m with 10cm wall thickness.

PMM repairs at (a) and (b) above shall be done as per following methodology (From sub items (i) to (vi) below)

i) Chipping of plaster and unsound/weak concrete material till reinforcement bars are exposed, which enabls their rust removal vides item ii) below, from slabs, beams, and columns etc. with standard power driven percussion type or pneumatic chisel of standard make as directed by Engineer-incharge including tapering all edges, making square shoulders of cavities etc complete and disposal of debris up for all lifts and leads .

ii) ) Rust removal by Providing and applying Fosroc Reebaklens RR or equivalnet from SIKA/ BASF, a combination of acid based material, corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents rust remover, for removal of all rust/ scales/corrosion from reinforcement bars before microconcreting or patch repair,It Shall be applied with brush for complete wetting of rusted metal surface at coverage of 2- 2.5 Sqm/ltr. & allow it to react for 16-24 hours. After 24 hours, a white layer will appear which will protect further corrosion of metal /steel for about 5-7 days. Before applying any protective coating, the surface should be wire brushed and thoroughly cleaned for dust with dry cloth.

iii) Anticorrosive treatment by Providing and applying Nitozinc Primer an epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive primer having adhesive bond strength ≥ 1.5 MPa as per ASTM D4541, & shall comply to per ASTM B-117 to be applied on well cleaned, fully exposed and all loose scale , rust free rust free surface obtained by grit blasting or suitable means , to be done with coverage @4.5sqm/litres to achieve a minimum thickness of 40microns DFT or as per direction of Engineer-In charge.

iv) Epoxy bonding for Old concrete & New concrete by providing and applying bond coat on the prepared surface with two component epoxy based bonding coat Nitobond EP of Fosroc make or equivalent, having specific gravity 1.15 to 1.2 gm/cc, Compressive strength(BS 6319 Pt.2)- 50 Mpa at 7 days, Flexural strength strength(BS 6319 Pt.3)- 35 Mpa at 7 days, Tensile strength (BS 6319 Pt.7)- 20 Mpa at 7 days, Shear Strength (BS 6319 Pt.4)- 10 Mpa at 7 days, having an over lay time of 6 hrs and 30 ̊C. Bonding agent shall have coverage not less than 2.5sqm/litres Laying of reinstatement polymer modified mortar or micro concrete shall be completed within the overlay time of bonding coat. Item rate is inclusive of materials all labour, tools and tackles. complete as per specification and as directed by Engg.-in-charge.

v) PMM by providing and laying single component, polymer modified, fibre reinforced cementitious repair mortar, Rendroc SP40 or equivalent from SIKA/BASF over the tacky bond coat, that achieves Compressive strength (BS 1881 Pt.116) > 20 MPa at 1 day , > 45 Mpa at 28 days, Tensile Strength > 2.5MPa, Flexural Strength > 7Mpa at 28 days, Finishing the same with trowel carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface on the beams, slabs, piles etc., , complete in all aspect as per manufactur's methodology. Rates include cost of all labour, materials, Tools and Plants,propping, scaffolding, shuettering, safety arrangment, quality control, testing complete as per specifications and direction of engineer in charge.

vi) Item rates of PMM 25 mm and PMM 50 mm (against items (a) and (b) respectively ) are inclusive of all materials, labour, tools and plants, propping, scaffolding, safety, arrangement, quality control, testing and all items of works from i) to v) above quality control, testing etc. complete in all respect, as per specifications and as directed by Engineer.-in-charge. Work shall be complete only after proper wet curing has been done by contractor and surface has been evaluated for satisfactory quality by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument, and testing of PMM cubes filled up and cured by contractor during the application of PMM (75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28- day to be not less than 45 N/sqmm) in addition to NDT Testing as per under item of "Testing of works"

Drilling suitable holes in reinforced cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 10D(D-Dia of Bar in mm) in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce new steel bars including fixing the steel bars in position using Lokfix E75 or equivalnet from SIKA/ BASF a two-component epoxy anchoring material, supplied in 3:1 ratio having compressive Strength (EN196) >110 MPa, Flexural Strength (EN196) >40MPa, E Modulus (EN196) 10,800 MPa. or of equivalent make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

c) Anchoring bars for 12mm Dia

d) Anchoring bars for 16mm Dia

Providing and applying a non shrink, polymer modified cementitious micro-concrete Rendroc RG or equivalent from SIKA/BASF having compressive strength (BS 4551-80)-50 Mpa at 28 Days, Tensile strength- 2 Mpa @ 28 Days, Flexural Strength(BS 4551-80)-5 Mpa at 28 Days. product shall have A1 Class Fire Rating confirming to EN1504 cl 5.5, Thermal conductivity of 1.5W/m degree C. Renderoc RG can be applied in sections upto 100mm deep. Pouring the same into the formwork using suitable arrangement or if required using pumping device for uniform flow of micro concrete. Rate is inclusive of preparatory works from item i) to item v) below, rates also includes cost of materials labour, tools and plants, cost of shuttering & scaffolding, safety arrangement quality control and testing etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer.-in-charge

v) Work will complete only after proper wet curing has been done and testing of Microconcrete cubes filled up and cured by contractor during column jacketing work (100 mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28-day to be not less than 45 N/sq.mm) and NDT tests mandated under item "Testing of works"

SHOTCRETING (For through repairs of RCC elements like Slabs, Beams etc) with

a) 25 mm thick in grade M25 with cement content not les than 330 kg per cum

Shotcreting (Guniting) of R.C.C. components with approved mix mortar [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand in proportion (1:3)] including the cost of materials, labour, Plants and equipment, centering and shuttering at edges and corner if required, propping, scaffolding and safety arrangment quality control & testing of works, the rate will also include Chipping (sub item i below) cleaning of concrete surface and reinforcement rust with sand blasting (sub item ii) below, wet curing quality control and testing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in-Charge. Surface shall be evaluated by sounding /tapping with a blunt metal instrument by engineer incharge or his representative apart from cube tests for compressive strength of 25 N/sqmmand NDT tests under Item "Testing of Works"

i) Chipping of plaster and unsound/weak concrete material till reinforcement bars are exposed from slabs, beams, columns etc. with standard power driven percussion type or pneumatic chisel of standard make as directed by Engineer-incharge including tapering all edges, making square shoulders of cavities etc complete and disposal of debris up for all lifts and leads .

ii) Cleaning of concrete surface and reinforcement rust of by sand blasting with coarse sand followed by and including cleaning with oil free air blast so as to de-rust reinforcement bars as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Waterproof coating including surface preparation and laying of geotextile layer: Providing and applying waterproofing treatment to sound, moisture free concrete surface using Nitoproof 600PF manufactured by Fosroc or equivalent from SIKA/BASF by authorised applicator. Nitoproof 600 PF shall be liquid applied single component pitch free polyurethane coating capable of bridging substrate cracks upto 2 mm. It shall be applied in two coats at coverage rate of 2kg/sm to a achieve a minimum DFT of 1.3 mm. The membrane formed shall confirm to following minimum properties: 1) Elongation : >400% as per ASTM D 412 2) Tensile Strength : 2.5 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 412 3) Adhesion in-peel test : >50 N as per ASTM C- 836 4) Recovery from 350% elongation : 95% as per ASTM D 412 5) Water Vapour Transmission 2.3mm film: 0.6 g/m2/hr 6) Initial Hardness Shore A : min 60 as per ASTM D 2240. 7) Root resistant : protection by screed is required. 8) Crack bridging not less than 2mm Membrane Termination shall be done at 300 mm above FFl and and secured by providing a groove cut of 10mm x 10mm & seal it with Renderoc HSXtra of fosroc. System shall be applied in two coats on to a well cleaned and moisture free substrate using brush, squeegee, roller/suitable spray applied machine. The second coat shall be applied in perpendicular direction to the first, all complete as per the fosroc methodology. Rate shall include cost of surface preparation (sub item (i) below) and providing and laying of Geotextile layer (sub item (ii) below), all materials, labour, Tools & Plants, quality tests (Ponding etc.) complete in all respects as per specifications and as per direction of Engineer in charge. In addition contractor has to submit a minimum of 10 years' gaurantee against lealage through water proofed Terrace.

Surface Preparation: RCC Surfaces must be clean, even and sound concrete. Remove all oil, existing broken/damaged coving, dirt, laitance, protrusions(by light grinding) and other contaminants manually to attain a fairly smooth surface. Any undulations, pot holes, cracks shall be opened & treated with polymer modified mortar made by mixing Nitobond SBR or equivalent from SIKA/BASF @10% by weight of cement in Cement: Sand mix of ratio 1:3. This includes making of coving at all wall floor corners using PMM, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer incharge. The entire repair shall be allowed to cure before proceeding with any waterproofing treatment. Cement and sand shall be arranged by contractor himself.

(ii) Geotextile layer : Providing and installing 180 GSM non-woven geotextile membrane over the finish waterproofing treatment prior to protection screed as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge

Pipe Penetration Treatment: Providing and applying Nitobond EP or equivalent from SIKA/BASF an epoxy bonding agent over the PVC and internal side of of concrete after rubbing it with emery paper/sandppaper and fixing hydroswellable waterbar supercast SW in the centre of depth of slab. Later Filling the pipe gap with Conbextra GP2 leaving 20 mm * 20mm gap from the top all over the periphery, with all shuttering already in place. Later the gap shall be filled with Nitomortar S, two component epoxy mortar only after complete hydration of the prefilled grout, before treating the surface with Waterproofing layer. (Upto 100mm Dia)

M&L for laying PCC of M-15 grade( min 50 mm thick finishing at the drain pipe )mixed with approved water proofing compound like Conplast WL Xtra (Integral waterproofing compound confirming to IS 2645). This includes making of coving at the wall-floor corners using same concrete.Average 75mm thk.

PLASTERING:

Repairs to plaster of thickness 6 mm to 20 mm,upto floor 5 including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge -with cement mortar.

a) 6 t0 10 mm cement plaster of ( 1:4) added with Polymer SBR @2% of cement

b) 15mm cement plaster of ( 1:5) added with Polymer SBR @2% of cement (c) Rate quoted against this item vide sub items (a) and (b) above shall include all materials, labour, tools and plants, scaffolding, safety arrangemetn and preparation of surface as mentioned vides (a) and (b) above complete in alln respects as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and providing of FRP Chhajjas of 450mm width suitable for various opening incl grounting in existing wall and fitting with suitable screws and fixtures upto 5th floor level incl all labour material tools and plants scaffolding safety arrangements quality checks complete in all respect all as specified & directed

Waterpoofing of Wet area : Wet areas/ Sunken area/Utility area/Balcony area waterproofing using Fosroc Brushbond RFX or equivalent from SIKA/BASF

Waterproof Coating: Providing and applying two coats of Brushbond RFX, high performance, elastomeric, acrylic polymer modified cementitious coating having a mixed density of 1.6 kg/cc manufactured by fosroc chemicals india pvt. ltd or equivalent from SIKA/BASF by authorized applicators. Minimum recommended coverage is 0.5m2/per kg /2 coats to achieve a min DFT of 1mm. waterproof coating shall confirm to ASTM C-836, ASTM D 4541 & ASTM D 4060. Brushbond RFX coating shall exhibit below properties: 1. Abrason resistance ASTM-D4060 : 0.85 , 2. Tensile strength as per ASTM D412 is 1N/mm2 3. Adhesion to concrete is greater than 1N/mm2 4.static crack accommodation ASTM-C836. min 1mm System include supply and application, all complete as per the fosroc methodology. Item shall include making of coving at all the wall-floor corners using 1:4 Cement Sand mortar admixed with Nitobond SBR latex, & termination at 300mm above FFL by cutting of 10mm X 10mm chase and later filling with Nitobond SBR Latex admixed PMM. Size of coving may vary as per site conditions. Payment shall be made as per actual area of measurement. Rates are inclusive of cost of preparatory works vides item (i) and item (ii) below. Rates includes all materials, labour, tools, plents, safety arrangement, quality control and testing etc. complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

(i) Coving: Opening up the corners of Wall-floor corners to a minimum 10mm *10mm groove, later cleaning the same using water, later filling the groove using 1:3 Cement Sand Mortar Admixed with Nitobond SBR Latex @ dosage of 10% by wt. of cement, followed by making of concave coving of size 40mm *40mm, including finishing, curing, all complete as per manufacturer's methodology.

(ii) Construction Joint & Crack Treatment: Chase open construction joints in v shape of 15mm x 15mm using suitable means, later cleaning the same using water jet and applying a bond coat of Nitobond SBR Latex orequivalent from SIKA/BASF mixed with cement and water in a ratio of 1:1:3(Water : Polymer : Cement), followed by filling of Nitobond SBR Latex admixed PMM in the groove, including, filling, finishing, curing all complete as per the direction of Engineer In-Charge. In case of structural cracks, injection grouting shall be carried out either using Cementitious Grout or Low viscous epoxy grout, depending upon the kind of cracks. In case of poor/weak construction joints, injection grouting at the CJ's should be carried out depending upon the joint characterstics and shall be paid separately.

Bore Packing : Providing and applying Nitobond EP an epoxy bonding agent over the PVC and internal side of of concrete after rubbing it with emery paper/sandppaper and fixing hydroswellable waterbar supercast SW20 in the centre of depth of slab. Later Filling the pipe gap with Conbextra GP2 from the top all over the periphery, with all shuttering already in place, (Upto 100mm Dia).

Protection Plaster: Providing and applying Cement plaster/screed of proportion 1:4 admixed with integral waterproofing admixture Conplast WL Xtra or equivalent from SIKA/BASF, a Corrosion resistant admixture as per ASTM G1, JISZ 1535 mixing @ 200ml/bag of cement. This shall include all champering , rounding off of corners, protusion and shall include shuttering cost or as per Engineer in-charge specification. Cement and sand will be in client scope.

a) 12mm thk 1:4 Cement: Sand Plaster for Verticals Areas

b) Min 40mm thk 1:4 Cement: Sand Screed for Horizontal Areas

Testing of Works: Apart from supervision and inspectionof materials the Works under this work order (Shekhawati Blocks) would be tested by NDT methods; for this purpose 10 Rebound Hammer Tests and 10 UPV tests Tests would be conducted on PMM, Microconcrete and Shotcrete (Gunniting) works per block (on an average basis) would be conducted as per specifications of materials and applications as also the specifications of NDT tests and as directed by Engineer in charge. The cost of these tests shall be born by contactor and this cost is supposed to be built up in items of work above, no separate payment will be payable on this account.
