M&L for testing of restoring of earth test results by using pouring of solution of 30Ltr water mixed with 5Kg Salt to achieve test results as er relevant IS of old earthing using calibrated earth tester & submitting result to Engr -in -Charge. Earthing which showing highe results values of resistance specified in IS rule should be replaced with new earthing items considered as below complete all as specified and directed:- Note : (1) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 5 Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted. 2. Earth test results pre and post treatment shall be recorded jointly and results shall be kept on record of office of Engineer in Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with M.S. galvanized earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below normal GL) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below normal GL, earth plate souroundally filled charcoal and common salt in alternate layer (min 10 Kg charcoal & 10 Kg salt), connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of GI or steel with and including excavation, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone agg) as in chamber with RCC cover (1:2:4) type B0, 40 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia bar, 3 Nos. both way, 15 mm dia light grade GI protection pipe, funnel with wire mesh,watering pipe of size 20 mm dia mediam grade, lugs etc. all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I, 2009 complete all as specified and directed. all as specified and directed. Note :- Main earth lead upto 7.5 mtr shall be deemed to be included in unit rate. Beyong above earth lead shall be measured and pai seperetley.

M&L for providing new earthing for bldg complete with copper plate of size 600 x 600 x 3.0 mm with copper earth strip of size 20 x 3 mm and earth pit not less than 4.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge earth of the plate not less than 3.50 mtr below normal ground level ,earth plate souroundally filled charcoal and common salt in alternate layer (min 10 Kg charcoal & 10 Kg salt) connected to copper strip (25 x 3 mm ) from earth plate to test point by means of brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and lead washers or copper riveted joint including char coal dust, common salt, funnel with wire-mesh, 20 mm dia light grade GI pipe for watering and 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of copper strip and excavation / earth work with PCC pit (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and RCC cover of 40 mm thick with (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6 mm dia mild steel round bar 75 mm C/C both way with two Nos 12 mm dia MS handle complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, the rates includes testing charges also complete all as specified and directed. all as specified and directed. Material and labour for earthing complete with copper plate electrode 90cm x 60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground with top edge of plate not less than 4.5mtr deep below the normal ground level connected to copper strip 32 x 6mm copper strip as main earthing lead and connected and tinted copper bolt, nuts, check nuts ad washers besides braising at all joints and connected to earth test point all as shown on plate No 2 of SSR Part -I 2009 and including necessary excavation, earth work, returning filing, removal of extra soil etc, filing adequate qty of charcoal dust, common salt and MgSO4, PCC work (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for earth pit with CI Pit cover 10mm thick hinged with 40mm x 40mm x6 mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, watering pipe with GI pipe 40mm bore medu graded with funnel with wire mesh and 50mm dia GI light grade for earth lead protection pipe complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Main earth lead upto 7.5 mtr shall be deemed to be included in unit rate. Material and labour for making High conductive, Non corrosive,Maintenance Free yet Repairable Electro-Chemical - Gl earth pit suitable for Lightning Conductor application using earth enhancing compound ISOGEL of 20 kg kit, CPRI Tested 'ISOROD' of 3 inch dia, 8 ft long and 0.12 inch thick made of K type electrolytic copper with top removal Gl filling cap, seepage holes, Stainless steel fasteners, HDP Lockable earht pit cover cum inspection/termination chamber and all required accessories including design modifications, to achieve the required earth termination rod resistance value of less then 1 ohms complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. Earth work will be included in unit rate . 2. Copper connecting strip for equipement of 32x6 mm up to 7.5 meter will be included in unit rate. 3. Test point to be made on insulation base i.e. porcelain insulator or mica sheet of 3 mm thick will be included in unit rates . If earth resistance value is found to be outside the permissible limits successful bidder shall do fresh earthing on his own expense.

M&L for Copper strip 32 x 6 mm with and including copper ut bolts of 25-30mm long and 6-8mm dia on wall/batten or recessed or buried in ground complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7 but Copper strip 20 x 3 mm -do-.

Supply & fixing for GI strip 32x6mm wth GI nut bolts of suitable size on wall/batten or recessed or buried in ground complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 4 mm dia GI or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recessed or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing the MS plate size 0.05 sqm of triangle /rectangular shape and oval shape to identify the earthing not less than 1.6 mm thick and angle iron 25x3 mm and 600mm height welded with plate and grouting vertically alongwith earthing pit with PCC block not less than 300x300x300 mm duly painted background with black colour and writing arial font with white colour the type of earthing i.e. Chemical earthing No.X /Copper earthing No.XX /Charcoal earthing No. XXX and Earthing Result in Ohm and date of testing,date of due date of testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of GI pipe light grade of size 40 mm bore for laying in trenches/floors or walls including all fittings for fixing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of GI pipe light grade of size 15 mm bore for laying in trenches/floors or walls including all fittings for fixing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting/boring of PCC / WBM / hard standing at a depth not more than 30 cm deep & 20 cm in breath and making good disturbed surfaces by using the new materials on cutting areas/ disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note disturbed surface shall be matched with PCC under item no. 15 here n before.

Material and labour for cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete Type B2 1:2:4 (40 mm graded aggregate) incl form work (for redressing road surface) complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for new earthing pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber with RCC cover (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, 40 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia bar, 3 Nos. both way, funnel with wire mesh,water poring arrangement ,connecting main Earthing lead from Earthing pit to Test point /equipment complete including dismatling of existing unserviceable pit cover all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I, 2009 complete all as specified and directed. .

Material and labour to provide the PVC Pipe heavy duty of 50 mm dia , 250-300mm long size for the GI/ALU/Copper strip enabling crossing to the wall by providing such pipe for ensuring that the Strip will remain insulated from wall and filling up the remaining portion of PVC Pipe, Polyerethen Puff/ filler for protection of insects including boring of suitable hole as well as making good of disturbed surface and matching with existing colour with the help of putti /distemper of same colour complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting externally of earthing pit with White cement and mixing of colour (Red/Green/Yellow) of earthing pits of diffirent colour as per Earthing type (Chemical/Lightening Protection and Conventional ) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting on wall with synthetic enameled paint of black colour of 200 x 150 mm size and writing work for earth test result with date complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for overlap jointing of addl requirements of copper / GI / Aluminium strips by making drilling holes 02 Nos with brass/GI nuts, bolts and lead washers complete all as specified and directed.Note -Brazing is is required to be done when copper strip is used and welding for GI strips
