PART- A

Providing & Applying seamless Acrylic based chemical waterproofing system with minimum 1 mm DFT (dry film thickness) including surface preparation as per general notes, primer coat, reinforcing membrane and multiple layers of chemical coat, removing the existing damaged w/p treatment, if any, all complete as per the manufacturers specifications and as directed by EIC, using any of the following waterproofing systems 1) Smartcare Damp Proof of M/s Asian paints 2) Dr. Fixit Newcoat of M/s Pidilite 3) Brushbond Roof Guard of M/s Fosroc 4) ShaliCryl® LM HI of M/s STP Limited, all confirming to the following technical requirements: Chemical properties: Sp. Gravity : 1 +/- 0.2 Tensile strength @ 14 days : 0.5 N/mm2 to 1.0 N/mm2 Elongation : 100% minimum UV Resistant : Continuous 500 hrs (min) as per ASTM D 4587

(i) Over terrace slab, top of water tank and parapet etc. at all levels.

Providing, casting and fixing Cement concrete blocks of 300mm X 300mm X 400mm (or other required size) of 1: 1 1/2 : 3 Grade for providing supports to the water supply lines including bedding mortar, form work etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing of existing electrical / communication cables from parapet wall, walls etc and Refixing the same to the required location after completion of work.

Supplying and fixing following size PVC-SWR pipes and Fittings for soil, waste,vent and rainwater pipe lines consisting following items of work:- i) Supplying PVC - SWR pipes and fittings conforming to IS 13592 of approved make and standard PVC clamps ( approx. 3.2 mm thick ) and nails or MS galvanised clamps having minimum 3 mm thick for fixing the pipe. ii) Fixing the pipeline vertically to plumb, keeping the pipe barrel 50 mm away from the wall face, using PVC or MS galvanised clamps. iii) Providing and fixing PVC Domed roof outlet (grating ) for RWP & PVC cowl for waste / soil pipe. iv) Jointing the PVC pipes and specials by PVC solvent cement, rubber lubricant with rubber rings or any other approved equivalent method. v) Laying the pipeline below the ground to proper slope and gradient for making connection of soil and vent pipeline ( Vertical stacks ) with inspection chamber or manhole and waste water pipeline with gully trap chamber including the cost of cement mortar, water proofing compound etc., testing the vertical pipeline by smoke test and horizontal pipeline by 600 mm head of water and rectifying the leakages, if any all complete. vi) Cutting or making hole in RCC or brick work and reinstating the surface to it's original condition after passing the pipe with cement mortar / cement concrete etc. by adding approved water proofing compound. c) Providing and fixing spout 75mm dia G.I ( B-Class) 500 mm long including removing existing GI spout at various locations and levels including cost of labour PCC etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour charges only for carefully removing / dismantling the existing G.I. Water supply pipe line in all sizes, along with its existing fittings at all floors and location including cleaning the pipes with thin rod, removing sand particles or miscellaneous other obstructions in pipes and fittings including labour charges for replacing the damaged / unserviceable G.I. Pipes & fittings wherever found necessary including refixing the same in its original position in proper line, level and plumb with necessary specials / fittings making threadings, jointing the pipes and fittings with hemp yarn, white zinc paste, clamping, testing the pipes & fittings for leakproofness and smooth working including returning the defective / unserviceable materials to stores of maintenance Units etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, jointing, fixing, testing & painting heavy quality (Class 'C') M.S. galvanized pipes as per I.S. 1239-1968 including fittings like elbows, collars, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends and all other fittings required for the completion except screwed flanges conforming to I.S.1239-1968 & also as per the code of practice of water supply in bldgs. of I.S.2065-1972 including laying under floors, chasing, in walls,roof slabs and making good the same to the original conditions, including the cost of all jointing materials like hemp yarn, white or red lead, clamps, wooden gutties, screws, cement, sand etc., including proving pvc sleeves at wall/concrete portion of pipe including removing the old damaged G.I. pipes & handing over to dept. stores, scaffolding, testing the pipes etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position heavy pattern screw down gun metal Gate Valve conforming to IS:778 with hand wheels at top including testing for 10 Kg./Sq.Cm. pressure with clean and potable water with a minimum testing duration of two hours etc including removing gun metal Gate valve & returning to deptt stores etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Sand faced cement plaster CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechanical mixing with water in a metallic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering, including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including acrylic based membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the EIC.

a) 20mm thick

Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix' of M/s. Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s. Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s. Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth with neeru over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels including acrylic based membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s. Anuvi Chemicals, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. and removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

a) 15 mm thick.

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using polymer (deptt. supply at fixed rate) and comprising the following operations: i) Breaking cracked/ spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site, simultaneous transportation and disposal of debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. ii) Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping/ wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone. iii) Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars.

a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including scaffolding, curing, covering the flooring/ window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor/ windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Brickwork in cement mortar 1:6 in superstructure at all floors and levels using well burnt locally available bricks of approved qualit including scaffolding , raking out joints above ground level simultaneous pionting below ground level curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & applying polysulphide compound in expansion joints of approved quality of M/s. Chokesy chemicals /Sunanda special coatings or approved equivalent with primer including labour for mixing in required proportion of part ‘A’ & ‘B’ removing the excess sealant after application for width upto 25mm and 15mm depth etc. complete all as per manufacturer’s specifications including dismantling the loose plaster and making good the same & filling up the gaps of Expansion joint with approved material (thermocol of high density or equivalent) followed by polysulphide compound of approved manufacturer or as specified including scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing in position 18 G.(1.20 mm thick) aluminium sheet for covering the existing expansion joint on terrace floor of various buildings ( flat and pitched roofs) and bent to proper shape & profile & secured in position with suitable (35/8) (35 mm long and 4 mm thick) cadmium plated full threaded steel screws, washers & rawl plugs at 400 mm centre to centre including drilling holes and packing with silicon sealant including cutting the sheet to required sizes, shape overlapping , drilling holes, chasing the surfaces wherever required & making the joints leak proof, packing overlap joint with polysulphide sealant and including removing existing damaged covering and depositing to deptt stores etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing & refixing of rainwater mouth at terrace with CI connector piece including removing existing damaged pipe and fixing with new pipe, cementing of joint etc as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
