Assistance in day to day operation of 2 x 1.0 MVA, 33 KV/3.3 KV Substation at Saraipali OCP : Following activites will be required to execute in the form of assistance with the help of deployement of one manpower in each shift @ 03 shift per day. Minimum education qualification of the manpower to be engaged shall be ITI (Electrical) with wiremanship certificate. Scope of work: 1) To operate switchgears in the electrical substation and to put circuits into commission and restore electric current in the case of switch trips. 2) Be constantly vigilant and observe with a view to ensure that the transformers are not over loaded. 3) To determine the reasons of failure of switches either in earth fault or overload. 4) To report to his superior as and when switchgears and transformers behave abnormally i.e., constant tripping due to failure on earth fault or short circuiting of tranmission line or abnormal sound from the transformers etc. and to follow up rectification of defects till normally is resotred. 5) To assist the supervisor and other technical staff in all possible ways at the time of major maintenace and repairs of transformres, switch gears and other electricals equipment. 6) To maintain log books as per prescribed performa in respect of voltage, current, surge counter, frequency, power factor, relay testing record, shutdown timing and restoration of circuit, LOTO implemantation in sub station at the time of shutdown, timing of power faiure and restoration of power etc. 7) To carryout such other duties as may be entrusted to him by the supervisor in connection with electrical power supply system.
