REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SYSYTEM AND CERTAIN OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT STN UNDER GE(AF) CHABUA

Disconnection, taking down, dismantling including necessary testing for Siren, 3 ph, 3 - 5 Km range with 1.5 KW motor and necessary repair work as follows: -

(a) Transportation of Siren from Chabua to Dibrugarh/Tinsukia workshop for repair and transporting back after repair. (b) Opening the rotor and wind controller assembly carefully without damaging any part and detecting the fault/defects in stator and rotor by testing . (c) Disconnecting the defective coil and rewinding the same with suitable gauge of super enameled copper wire as per the existing size as required at site. (d) Heat varnishing by putting the rotor/stator assembly into heat chamber. (e) Replacement of defective Bearings.

(f) Preparation of surface area of the siren by complete removing of existing painting and repainting complete (after reassembling) with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer( using spray machine) all as specified and directed( colour of paint to be as per existing colour code norms. (g) Reassembling, reinstallation at original location or as directed including restoration of electrical connection,commisioning and testing on load complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnect and opening the defective Isolation transformer 60 to 150 Kva and detecting any type of fault by checking the relay / winding/ studs and cleaning/ tightening of lose connection, including replacement of minor parts like jumper connecting cable , connectors, lugs etc. and rectifying the minor faults only and servicing of complete system all as directed. Note:- Replacement of major component if required will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply only following spares of OEM make or equivalent for the isolation transformer 60-150 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed:-

(a) LT bushing

(b) Studs

(c) Insulation press board

(d) Gasket

Supply and rewinding of super enameled copper winding wire of existing size for the Siren/Isolation transformer as dismantled of following capacity:-

(a) Super enameled insulated copper wire of 15-22 gauge for isolation transformer three phase 60 to 150 Kva

(b) Super enameled insulated copper wire of 10-15 gauge for Electric Siren, three phase 1.5 KW.

Dehydration/Filtration of Transformer Oil by means of Centrifugal Filtration Plant to achieve the specified Di-electric Strength of 35 KV to 40 KV at 2.5mm Gap in Existing Position of Transformer/Voltage stabilizer of any Capacity and Transformer Oil for Topping Up at various Sub-station complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- Transformer Oil to be used for TOP UP shall be Measured and Paid for separately.

Supply & Pouring of New Transformer Oil, conforming to IS:335-1983 to achieve a Di-electric Strength up to 60 KV with Oil Testing Kit 4.0mm thick to Top Up of the Transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for isolating of LT ACB of 800/1000 amps, draw out/taking out the same from panel for repair/replacement, providing petroleum jelly to the contact points/springs and refixing the same after repair complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Spares required to be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Servicing & overhauling of C- Power 800-1600 Amp ACB complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix maintenance kit of C-Power ACB 800-1600 Amp complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only motor 240 V AC suitable for 1000 Amps ACB, Make: L&T, Cat No SL00315OOOO or equivalent in approved make.

Supply only hardware kit suitable for 1000 Amps ACB, Make : L&T, Cat No SL91093OOOO or or equivalent in approved make.

Supply only C power motor fixed arching contact 1000 S1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only C Power E85 1000 S1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down/out unserviceable UG Cables of any Cross Sectional Area and Connections including Bricks, GI Pipes, etc. of any descriptions, laid in Trenches and/or fixing with Walls/Poles including Segregating of Serviceable Materials viz Bricks, Cables, GI Pipes, etc. and keep in Safe custody for re-use, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- Earth Work shall be Measured and Paid for separately under relevant Items.

Supply & Laying or Fixing or Passing through Pipe, XLPE insulated, Armoured, Electric Power UG Cable (Heavy Duty) with Aluminum Conductor, 1100 Volt Grade, Nominal Cross-Sectional Area 25 Sqmm 4 Core including Brass Compression Cable Gland, Terminal Lug, etc., and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Laying or Fixing or Passing through Pipe, XLPE insulated, Armoured, Electric Power UG Cable (Heavy Duty) with Aluminum Conductor, 1100 Volt Grade, Nominal Cross-Sectional Area 35 Sqmm 3½ Core including Brass Compression Cable Gland, Terminal Lug, etc., and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Laying or Fixing or Passing through Pipe, XLPE insulated, Armoured, Electric Power UG Cable (Heavy Duty) with Aluminum Conductor, 1100 Volt Grade, Nominal Cross-Sectional Area 185 Sqmm 3½ Core including Brass Compression Cable Gland, Terminal Lug, etc., and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Laying or Fixing or Passing through Pipe, XLPE insulated, Armoured, Electric Power UG Cable (Heavy Duty) with Aluminum Conductor, 1100 Volt Grade, Nominal Cross-Sectional Area 240 Sqmm 3½ Core including Brass Compression Cable Gland, Terminal Lug, etc., and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Relaying UG Cable (Serviceable Cable obtained from 14 here-in-before) of any size or any description after carry out repair such as joining with Epoxy Joint and making Connection by using Lugs and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes for item Nos. 15 to 22:- Earthwork, Cable Protection Pipe, Cable Joint, Mild Steel Clamps, Nuts & Bolts, etc. for fixing of Cable Protection Pipe with Pole, Wall, etc. shall be Measured and Paid separately under relevant Items.

Excavating in Trenches not exc. 1.50 METRE wide and not exc. 1.50 METRE in depth, Taking Out and Laying of Cables, etc. and getting out in Soft/ Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, Filling in, including Spreading, Levelling, Watering and Well Ramming in Layers not exc. 250mm in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated Materials (Soils) not exc. 50.00 METRE and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 METRE above the Starting Point in Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Sand Cushioning (dry) in Trenches for protection of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in Trenches) of 230mm Spread thick -ness and consolidated (punned) up to 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed (NOTE : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thick-ness of Sand Cushioning only shall be Measured and Paid for).

S&F Sub-Class B Brick, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of Cable laid in Trenches over Sand Cushion laid for UG Cable Protection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-laying only old Brick in Trenches for Under Ground Cable Protection complete all as directed.

Horizontal Boring by Passing GI Protection Pipe up to 50mm Bore (dia), under Road /Foot Path, not exc. 10.00 METRE in a Single Length, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for GI tube light grade laid in trenches or fixed on wall, floor or on pole with aluminum camp of size 25 x 3 mm of suitable length with bolts, nuts and washer of suitable size for cable protection complete all as specified for the following sizes:-

(a) 50 mm bore

(b) 25 mm bore

M&L for Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminum Stranded Conductor, Nominal Cross-Sectional area exc. 10 Sqmm but not exc. 16 Sqmm, 2/3½/4 Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminum Stranded Conductor, Nominal Cross-Sectional area exc. 25 Sqmm but not exc. 50Sqmm, 3/3½/4 Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminum Stranded Conductor, Nominal Cross-Sectional area area exc. 70Sqmm but not exc. 95Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Necessary earth work required for sl item no 32 to 34 deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Taking down old unserviceable service wires of any description complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B-1(20mm Graded Stone Aggregate) as in Coping of Poles, etc. including Formwork (as required), complete all as directed.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete and setting aside for re-use with in 50m complete all as directed.

S&F Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) (sizes as ordered) and fixing on Electric Poles with binding to Insulators with Aluminum Binding Wire PVC insulated R, Y, B and Neutral black as in OH Conductors including Stringing, Tighten-ing, complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Cost of Binding Wire shall deem to be included in the QUOTED UNIT RATE).

Re-stringing Over Head Line ACSR Conductor and earth wire of any size and type on LT poles including disconnection on Existing Lines by un-binding at Each Pin/Shackle Type Insulator, re-fixing the same after stretching Conductor, removing excess Sag, maintaining proper distance between Conductors adjusting line dividers etc and cutting trimming of tree branches up to 2 mtr clear distance from wire, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Self adhesive rubber HT insulation tape of colours red, yellow, blue 3M, steel grip complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only rubber mat of size 1000mm x 2000mm x 3mm thick suitable for 11KV system as per IS 15652:2006 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only rubber electric hand gloves suitable for 11KV system as per IS 4770 complete all as specified and as directed.
