REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF STREET LIGHTS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS HAKIMPET UNDER GE(AF) HAKIMPET

Comprehensive Maintenance of Security/Street /hanger/ Tarmec/ dispersal light (Approx 1500 Nos.) in Technical area, Domestic area, NP area and OMQ area comprising various types light fittings viz. HPSV, HPMV, MH, CFL, LED Fitting aviation obstruction lights, timer swithecs of various size/capacity mounted on Poles/Walls/roof of the hanger to find out defects/taking out unserviceable Parts such as Tube Rod, Lamp, Choke, Starter, Capacitor, Lamp Holder, Bipin Holder, driver etc. and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection /loose connection/ necessary cleaning the bowl/ cover of security light providing with junction box cover, screws, nut & bolts and Insulation tape to insulate the LT Joint, etc and Testing, complete all as specified and directed.

Notes: (a) Capacitor, Ignitor, Holder, Lamp, HPMV/HPSV/MH/ LED Fitting Electronic Driver, PVC insulated cable for connecting Street/Security Light Fittings, etc will be measured and paid under respective Items as 'Supply only'. (b) Necessary T&P, Safety Belts, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (c) Earth work (as necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items. (d) The Contractor or his authorised representitive has to inspect all street/ security lights on daily basis at this own arrangement between 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm and maintain the record in register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the every next day morning at 10.00 hours. (e) The Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street / Security lights on daily basis in any weather condition. (f) The Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper as per the requirement and all necessary T&P and Equipments for remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS to the contractor or his authorised representative. (g) Repair Party will be reported every Morning and Evening to JE E/M for Daily attendance. For any absent period recovery will be made as per Rs 1800/day. (h) Repair vehicle (mounted with ladder) will be provided by the department subject to minor repair of Lader mounted on vehicle (if required) and the same will be return in serviceable condition after completion of work. (i) The rate qouted includes labour charge for replacement of existing unserviceable light fittings with new light fittings. (j) Any materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES Store Yard without any extra cost to the Department.

Supply and connect PVC insulated, PVC Sheathed flat twin core cable with stranded aluminium conductor of size 2.5 Sqmm including taking down existing unserviceable wire, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only automatic street light switch using infrared sensor based on nature switch for automatic switching of street lights. Operated based on natural light lux level with illumination level for switching ON is <30 lux and >10 lux for switching off with suitable power contactors , incoming and outgoing MCBs rust proof sheet metal encloser suitable for mounting on poles / walls, electric shock proof and FR grade SMC junction box confirming to IP 54 complete all as specified for the following:- (a) Suitable of three phase load of 5 kw with contactors (single phase 3Nos). Supply only Nature switch - 02 (senser ) Nature switch operation should be based on nature light lux level. Required illumination level for switching ON is <30 lux and for switching OFF >10 lux, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only (in replacement) Contactor 1 Phase 40 Amps for street light timer (Make- L&T or equivalent as approved) in existing panel/ location and connection incl necessary alteration in panel/ door as required for proper fixing & connection, complete all as specified and directed.

Suply only MS bracket for mounting flood light fitting made out of MS angle iron of size 40x40x6 mm of length not less than 1.0 m, fixed to pole/ earth and grout using PCC & clamp, nut & bolts including painting of bracket with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only rigid PVC conduite 'medium grade' of size 20 mm bore incl fittings, ISI marked, fixing with PCC pole/ steel tubular pole for wiring connection from pole box to light fitting and supporting with 03 Nos GI strip clamps, nut bolts, complete all as specified and directed.

Labour for cutting/pruning of tree branches along seccurity light pole around 2 mtr radius of security light fitting and removing from site including arrangement of T&P (i.e Axe, rope etc. ),complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only GI Pipe Bracket made of galvanised iron tubing 40mm bore (dia), light grade, 1.50 m long bent to shape as per specified for fixing street light fitting including suitable size of clamps(02 Nos) made of 25x6 mm flat iron, nuts, bolts etc and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium primer including, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Electronic driver with Input Voltage 220 to 240 Volt and Output Voltage suitable for LED Light Fitting of capacity 100 to 200 Watt, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Philips/Havells/ Crompton Greaves/ Wipro/Bajaj suitable to the light fitting existing at the site.

Supply only electronic driver suitable for 45 to 100 Watt LED street / flood light fitting, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Philips/Havells/ Crompton Greaves/ Wipro/Bajaj suitable to the light fitting existing at the site.
