Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in hard/dense soil including removing of excavated soil and similar items complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for forming embankments (using approved earth obtained from excavation) including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering, ramming/ rolling with compactor of capacity 10 to 15 tonne and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.5 metre high from base complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Compaction shall be done until the density achieved is 98% of MPD

Removing excavated material like any type of soil/soft disintegrated rock from Mod/defence land to out side civil area, lead exceeding 1.50 Km but not exceeding 5 Km distance complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) The contractor shall obtain himself necessary permission from civil/state govt authority for location of disposal of soil. No any extra payment shall be paid to contractor on this account. (ii) The excavated material shall be removed from Mod /A-1 defence land to out side civil area.

Removing excavated material like any type of soil/soft disintegrated rock from Mod/defence land to out side civil area, lead exceeding 1.00 Km but not exceeding 1.5 Km distance complete all as specified and as directed. No any extra payment shall be paid to contractor on this account. (ii) The excavated material shall be removed from Mod /A-1 defence land to out side civil area.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in any type of soil, each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm including watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix iron posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets and round bars with hooks at ends (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Chain link of mesh size preferably 100 mm mesh of 10 gauge thickness shall be provided, size maybe changed after written approval of GE

Fixing only chain link fencing confirming to IS 2721:2003 including line wire, any mesh, size and type to any type of standard, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Chain link of mesh size preferably 100 mm mesh of 10 gauge thickness shall be provided, size maybe changed after written approval of GE

Supply only mild steel round bar 10mm dia and over, as in fencing, cut to length, bent to shape as required; quality conforming to Gd.I, IS- 432 (Part I) complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cost of fixing of 10mm dia round bar shall be included under item no. 14 of this BOQ

S & F Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins including dismantling old broken/rusted barbed wire of any dia and remove from site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Each line wire to be measured seperately

Supply and fix mild steel screw bolts 5 to 10 mm diameter of neck (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, not exceeding 5 cm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint and over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. (Fe-410-W) (Gde-E-250), drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other coverings; doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix mild steel work confirming to Fe 310-0 or Fe 410-0 in hold fasts of flat iron, hooks, pintle hinges, cleats hand made sliding bolts and similar items complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc. of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.
