Repair and Maintenance of T.E. building in the Telephone Exchange compound at Madikonda in Warangal OA

Amount

1) Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

a). All kinds of soil.

2). Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

3) Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

b) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

4) Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

a) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

5) 20 mm cement plaster of mix :

a) 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

6) Neat cement punning

7) White washing with lime to give an even shade:

a) New work (three or more coats)

8) Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour all complete :

a) New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre

9) Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

a) Two or more coats on new work.

10) White washing with lime to give an even shade :

a) Old work (two or more coats) .

11) Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

12) Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

13) Supplying and filling of moorum by mechanical transport up to a lead of 5 km, also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc., complete.

14) Providing and fixing 8 mm thick cement based bison particle board for panelling in partitions, doors, etc., with necessary screws etc complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge,(frame work to be paid seperately):
