REPAIR/MAINT OF UG CABLING FOR PERIMETER AND SECURITY LIGHTS INCLUDING CONNECTED WORKS AT PATIALA HILL AT CHAKABAMA MIL STN UNDER AGE (I) ZAKHAMA

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying cables, foundation for pole, etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming of soil in layers n. exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to distance n. exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cable including spreading and punning down to requirred thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Thickness of sand cushioning after punning down shall be measured for payment purpose)

Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ over burnt brick of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repair for XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable, with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of size 16 sqmm 4.0 core laid in trenches /floor or fixed on wall /pole in including brass compression cable glands, terminal lugs etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repair for XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable, with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of size 10 sqmm 4.0 core laid in trenches /floor or fixed on wall /pole in including brass compression cable glands, terminal lugs etc,complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Hot Dip Galvanised Tapered Octagonal Pole of Pole Height 5.00 m and having dimensions of 130 mm [Across the Face] at Bottom and 70 mm [Across the Face] at Top, made of 3mm thick BSEN-10025-S355JO Grade Steel Plate for Shaft and having Base Plate of size 200 X 200 X 12 mm thick with 4 Nos Φ16mm Holes with Pitch Circle Diameter of 250mm, conforming to IS - 2062, with Door Opening, Fixed with 4 Nos of M16X450mm long J Bolts of EN8 Grade with 3 Nuts and One Washer including 0.50m Long Sword type Decorative Single Arm Brackets made up of 40mm dia Medium Grade GI Tube conforming to IS - 1239 suitable for fixing LED Street Light Fittings including all accessories as per IS or OEM including dismantling of old ones alongwith demolition of concrete foundation complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Unit rate quoted against this item shall deemed to be inclusive of the following :- (a) Foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washers, anchor plates & templates complete set as per OEM. (b) Construction of foundation of pole as per manufacturer's instruction. mix of RCC for foundation as recommended by OEM shall be done by contractor from lab asspecified in particular specification however nothing extra shall be paid to contractor on this account. (d) Drawing of Hot Dip Galvanised Tapered Octagonal Pole along with foundation details shall be submitted by contractor to department for approval before construction. (e) Necessary earth work, excavation,PCC, RCC for foundation including formwork and reinforcement for Pole shall be deemed to inclusive of qouted rate. Note : The LED street light for this item will measured and paid separately under relevant item.
