Excavation in foundation, trenches in earth work in all kinds of soil,such as pick work,jumper work.blasting work in hard rock and soft rock and in saturated soil etc. i/c all leads and lifts , stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mtrs. clear form the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinth, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) G.I. pipes of following dia (M class) conforming to IS:1239-1990(Part - I ) (latest upto date amendments) of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 5 m-7 m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS:6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00mm in thickness as per IS:2712-1998. & butt welded joints. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The laying of Pipes conform to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing and all kind of specials fitting such as bends of all degrees to made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches, welding of flanges/butt welding will be measured and paid for seperately)

Providing and welding M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GMS pipes to be measured and paid for seprately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing circumferential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to GMS pipe, welded in three layers so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Oerilikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ES/ESAB make,conforming to IS 814-1991, include Die pentration test,at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/ mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying, Testing& Jointing in trenches HDPE pipes of following diameters & classes as per IS 4984 , PE-80 class PN-4 and jointing the pipes through push type compression joints by hydraulically operated machines upto 110 mm diameter and butt fussion ( heat fusion process) above 110 mm diameter i/c necessary fittings,bends,tees & reducers fabricated in accoradance with IS 8360 & IS 8008 with latest ammendments & shall be provided as per site conditions.Flanging of the pipes shall be made as& where required confirming to code IS 8008 & IS 7634, stub ends will be welded on pipes & MS flange shall be provided with slip on covered by epoxy coating/plastic powder. The flange should be confirm to ANSI B 16.5 with necessary nuts & Bolts. Jointing shall be complete in all respects i/c testing at site upto entire satisfaction of engineer-in charge.

Providing & fixing MS man hole cover having fram size 60x60 CM made from angle iron 65x65x6 mm with 3 mm thick MS sheet cover having locking arrangment, lock & lifting handles. Constructing chamber for sluice valve, with CI surface box 100 mm top dia.,160 mm bottom dia. & 180 mm deep(inside) with chained lid RCC top 1:2:4 mix (1 cement :2 sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) 100mm thick foundation concrete 1:5:10 mix (1cement : 5 sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) & inside plastering with cement mortor 1 :3 (1 cement : 3 sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement i/c curing complete. 600 x 600 x 750 mm inside size With 150 mm thick walls of RCC 1:2 :4 (1 cement :2 sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) complete with form work & reinforcement with 6 mm bars at not exceeding 150 mm centres both ways complete in all respect in all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
