SCHEDULE 'A' PART I. Manning and operation of water supply and fire fighting valves in the pump house & in the area of INHS Asvini round the clock (24 Hrs) with one valve operator per shift of 8 hrs, three shift a day including Sundays and Holidays. (a) 1st shift 0600 hrs to 1400hrs. (b) 2nd shift 1400hrs to 2200hrs. (c) 3rd shift 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs.
Note for item No 1.00-Qouted rates shall be deemed to be included the following:- (a) Valve man will be responsible to operate the valves in area as mentioned above and during fire in INHS Asvini Complex as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Surprise check will be carried out by department representative and if any employes is not available at his working place, he will be treated as absent. (c) Contractor has to submit the list of employees including reserve alongwith police verification, Aadhar card, Aadhar card linked Bank Account No and relevant documents as mentioned in PS to the Engineer-in-Charge. (d) The payment shall be made to employee on or before 10th of every calender month. Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque/ RTGS/NEFT/IMPS through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. (e) Contractor has to submit proof of payment of EPF subscription made by him alongwith RAR failing which RAR will not be progressed for payment.
(f) Contractor has to employ the number of labours per day as intimated by the Engineer-in-Charge for which he has to make alternative arrangement. (g) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (h) Contractor shall quote the rates considering their monthly leaves, releiver etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of the above. In case of absence of staff/tradesman from duty, payment of that day will not be paid. In addition to that a penalty of Rs 700/- per day per person will be recovered from contractors dues. Also in case of long absence (more than one week) of staff/tradesman, the penalty shall be recovered including Sundays & Holidays if any. The contractor shall have no claim on this account. (j) Contractor has to supply three sets of Tools and Plants (as applicable) to the labours employed by him and should be placed with the safe custody of department. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included the above provision. (k) In case any variation in manpower as indicated in Column No 4 of BOQ due to any reasons / or any manpower held in Department or any policy change contractor should have no claim on that account.
(l) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of work mentioned in NIT, the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No 2). The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost mentioned in NIT less S & F cost of items and amount quoted by lowest bidder less S & F cost of items. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to withhold the said amount which will be verified by AGE (I) . The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by AGE (I) for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall sumbit BGB/FDR of validity 12 months for the purpose of encashment/ release as the case may be. (m) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliever of menpower engaged by them (n) Contractor shall provide a uniform dress to all persons with name plate and backside of uniform with agency name. If any person found without uniform a penalty of Rs. 100/- per person per day will be recovered from contractors dues. (o) The quoted rates shall inclusive of GST as applicable
SCHEDULE 'A' PART II S&F in repairs 50 mm bore gun metal globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipes complete all as specified.
