Modification/modernization of exisitng lift including partially dismantling of existing 13 passenger elevator including design, fabrication, manufacture, assembly, Inspection & testing at work ,delivery to site, installation, testing, commissioning and handing over of lift having min. 1.75 mps speed serving 19 floors in the existing lift shaft including associated civil works, electrical works etc. as per tender specifications & relevant codes, lift rules, IS, as per instruction of E.I.C & any other work which is required for modification of lift. Note: All the lift components shall be replaced except following: i) car rails and counter rails, ii)car and counter weight frames with filler weights, Note: 1)Free comprehensive maintenance period is 12 months from the date of handing over of all 08nos. of lifts with lift licenses. However, renovated elevators completed in phase-I shall be released for use of Dept. before staring phase-II work. It must be responsibility of the agency to maintain the lift for safe operation during above period. 2) All the dismantled materials of elevators shall be taken away by the contractor, suitable rebate for the same shall be inculded in the quoted rates
