DG SET Supply, installation, Testing and commissioning of silent diesel engine driven generating set of capacity 10 KVA, water cooled 415 Volt 3 Phase wire engine as per IS 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS 13 364 complete with AMF panel for automatic starting of main failure including rated capacity MCCB/MCBfor outgoing cable having meter sound proof canopy and foundation as per manufacture's recommendation etc & all as directed. The design of integrated acoustic enclosure shall be of type approved by National Physical Laboratory as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) as per latest norms/regulation with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories and fitting including PCC foundation for (acoustic enclosure also 30 cm above ground level) as recommended by manufacturer & Vibration pad, sand cushioning around PCC foundation, tools and spares as provided by manufacturer all as specified in clause 25 of particular specification and as directed. 'The design of integrated acoustic enclosure sahould be of type approved by National Physical Laboratory as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) latest norms/regulation with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories and fitting PCC foundation for (acoustic enclosure also 30 cm above ground level) as recommended by manufacturer. Vibration pad, sand cushioning around PCC foundation, tools and spares as provided by manufacturer all as specified and as directed with the following specification :- (A) ENGINE - Water cooled diesel engine of suitable capacity to match the 10 KVA alternator under NTP conditions with provision of 10% over load for 1 hour in every 12 hours running conforming to IS-10002 ISO 3046 BS 5514. The engine shall consist of the following :-

(i) Fly Wheel. (ii) Flexible coupling with guard bolts and nuts etc. (iii) Cooling radiator (iv) Dynamo of suitable capacity. (v) Air Cleaner heavy duty dry type. (vi) Fuel injection pump (vii) Mechanical governor (viii) Fuel Filter (Mounted) (ix) Lubricating of filters (Mounted) (x) 12 Volt self regulating alternator belt driven by engine. (xi) Exhaust silencer heavy duty residential type. (xii) Starter 12 volts DC (xiii) Lubricating Oil Cooler (xiv) Lubricating oil pump (Gear type) (xv) Turbo Charger (xvi) Exhaust piping stall not be more than3.0 m with asbestos rope logging covered with aluminium foil caning. (xvii) Instrument panel electronic type with fault memory complete to be installed inside the sound proof enclosure with :- (a) Auto/manual starting switch with key. (b) Lubricating oil temparature guage (c) Lubricating oil pressure guage. '(d) Battery charging ammeter. (e) Battery charging indicating lamp. (f) Hour meter with RPM indicator. (g) Safety control against low lubricating oil pressure. (h) Over speed stop with double driven adopter. (j) control against high temperature of water.

(B) BRUSH LESS ALTERNATOR :- (i) Alternaor coupled to engine through a flexible coupling to an indigenous alternator mounted on strong steel fabricated base rame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation brush less alternator shall be conforming to BS-2613 or relevant IS-4722. (ii) Type :- Self-excited self regulated with automatic voltage regulator. (iii) Rating :- 10 KVA at 0.8 PF lagging 4 pole horizontal at NTP condition. (iv) Speed - 1500 RPM (v) System :- 415 Volts + 2.5% AC - 3 phase 4 wire 50 HZ. (vi) Condition :- 4 wire star connected. (vii) Enclosure :- Screen protected drip proof (viii) Ventilation :- Self-ventilated. '(C) ONE SET OF ACESSORIES : COMPRISING OF :- (a) FUEL TANK : One No made of sheet steel 14 SWG and capacity to hold diesel sufficient for running 08 hours running at full load including necessary piping. (i) Level indicator of fuel tank (ii) Drain plug (iii) MS Class 'C' piping for inlet from pump to tank of engine (iv) Fuel strainer. (v) Fuel tank shall be mounted as per manufacturer's instructions. (b) SEMI ROTART PUMP :- Manually operated fuel pump for filling diesel in the tank of adequate capacity with inlet connection to the tank with 5 m flexible hose pipe of suitable size heavy duty for suction of diesel from barrel. (c) BATTERY :- Heavy duty battery 24 plates 12 V 180 AH - 01 Nos connected to the system with multithreaded flexible copper lead 1.5 m long welded with battery terminals complete.

(d) BASE PLATE :- Fabricated out of MS channel's and ISMC of suitable size suitable for fixing of DG set all as specified by the manufacturer. (D) TOOLS KIT (i) Box type spanner set consisting of 12 spanner - 01 Set (ii) -do- but D/E ( 05 mm to 27 mm ) - 01 set (iii) 1 year maint spare kit as per maint manual of manufacturer Note :- The rate quoted by the contractor deemed to be inclusive of provn of necessary PCC foundation/platform for mounting DG Set as per manufacturer's instructions.
