CLEANING OF TERRACE: Cleaning of dry leaves, dust, silt, scarp materials, vegetation, bushes, fungus, algae, green wild creepers and like other loose materials such as brick bats, metal etc. from flat / slope roofs, rain water gutter, parapet, chajjas, catwalks and cleaning the rain water down take pipes, water spout pipes at all heights etc. and as directed by the EIC during the entire monsoon period. The collected debris shall not be thrown from terrace. The collected debris shall be kept at one place for further transportation to dumping yard. The rates including the cost of polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them from terrace to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises. Note:- Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rate for this item. CLEANING OF PH SERVICE SHAFTS: Cleaning thoroughly the existing service shafts behind RCC jali / behind gents & ladies toilet at all floors including cleaning throughly out side surface of the existing cast iron soil and rain water pipes of all wastes, removing rags, loose material, cob webs, cloth pieces, broken concrete pieces and all deleterios materials including lift and lead charges, cost of all tools, tackles, plants, accessories etc. all complete and as directed by the EIC. CLEANING OF OPEN STORM DRAINS: Removing of silt, dry leaves, murrum, small boulders etc. completely from the bed of open nallah, drains, open rubble pitched drains, canals & disposing the removed earth within a lead of 50mtr. during monsoon / non-monsoon period. The rates are including removing of green wild creepers etc. including silt thickness on the drain bed upto 150 mm thick. The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.

CLEANING OF COVERED STORM DRAINS: Removing of silt, dry leaves, murrum, small boulders etc. completely from the bed of closed drains with RCC / CI grating, box culverts etc. having depth not beyond 2.5 mts. and disposing the removed earth & debris within a lead of 50mts. including removal and putting back the RCC / CI grating properly as required during the eintire monsoon / non-monsoon period and as directed by EIC. CLEANING RCC PIPE STORM DRAIN UP TO 450MM DIA: Cleaning of existing storm water Hume Pipe lines of different diameters / pipe culverts and at all locations such as road, berms/ lawns, burried inside the building etc. which are partly or fully filled with silt, small boulders, dry leaves, grass, etc. by disposing the removed debris within a lead of 50 mtrs and as directed by the EIC. Note: The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
CLEANING OF STORM CHAMBERS: Removal of silt, dry leaves, mud, soil, grass, debris, etc. from storm water collection chambers manually after removing C.I. covers & re-fixing the covers at proper location including disposal of retrieved material to a lead of 500 mts., at BARC Hospital, CT&CRS building and Khrghar dispensary. Note: The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
CLEANING JUNGLE: Clearing Jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. Note: The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
SURFACE DRESSING: Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in levelling not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish at a lead up to 50 M in all kinds of soil complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. Note: The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
TRIMING THE BRANCHES OR CLEARING THE SITE OF FALLEN TREE: Trimming the branches or clearing the site of fallen tree of girth measured at a height of 1.0 m above ground level including trimming of branches or cutting of trunks and branches into 750mm long pieces by Diesel Operated Tree Cutting Tools & deploying tree cutting experience vendors, removing the roots and stacking of all the cutting branches/serviceable/usable materials in the place as directed by EIC within 50m lead from the site of fallen tree and disposal of unserviceable/unusable materials out of the BARC premises complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Providing SUPPLYING MAN POWER IN MONSOON: Supplying man power (2 Labours/shift for 3 Shift a day from 01st June to 30th September including Saturday, Sunday & Holidays) along with necessary pans, spades, shovels, pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small special spade, raincoats, safety shoes, etc. @ labour per day upto maximum any number of labour as and when decided by EIC to work for 08 hours per shift/day/night in monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of choked drains / grating grills / hume pipes / footpath by removing the dry leaves, silt etc. and also carry out seasonable departmental work allotted by EIC from time to time. Note: The rates including the cost of PPE of the workers, Providing Raincoat, Gumboot, Torchlight, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
HIRE CHARGES OF HYDRA / JCB for debris cleaning, site cleaning, trimming of Tree Branches during Monsoon Preparedness or as & when required during emergency in monsoon period etc. complete as directed by Engineer In-Charge. Note: Contractor should bring/arrange the required HYDRA/JCB at site withing next 2days. Failingwhich Penalty may be imposed as per Tender Clauses / NIT Stipulations.
LEAD CHARGES FOR LEAD UPTO 4 KM: Lead charges for lead exceeding 3 km but not exceeding 4 km by mechanical transport includinmg loading, unloading, stacking, levelling etc. (Note: The rates in respect of Item are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement). Note: Trasporting of debries at disposal ground, disposing, stacking, leveling & statutery charges if any will be responsibility of the Contractor and no extra charges shall be paid for the same. Contractor should clear the debris/traces within 3days after getting instruction from EIC.

CLEANING OF GULLY TRAPS: Cleaning of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers and stoneware pipes upto adjoining Inspection Chamber and CI pipes from Nahani trap to Gully trap. The rates are inclusive removing and refixing CI cover of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers.
CLEANING OF INSPECTION CHAMBERS, MANHOLES OF SEWAGE LINE: Cleaning of Sewage Manholes / Inspection Chambers of canteen, toilets, sewage line etc. carefully by mechanical means or with sewage cleaning tools complete all as directed by EIC. Pipe in between chambers will be measured seperately. The rates are inclusive of removing muck, solids and disposing the same beyond 2 km distance. Pumping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. Note: The rates including the cost of pumping as required if any, PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
CLEANING OF SEWAGE PIPE LINE: Cleaning and removal of sewage or drainage wastes, muck etc. from horizontal, sloping RCC/CI/PVC lines of all dia. (burried undergroung/under roads/exposed) connecting to sewage inspection chambers, manhole chamber etc. by mechanically / manually as desired by EIC including cost of labour, tools, machines, transportation etc. Note: The rates including the cost of pumping as required if any, PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard within the BARC Hospital Premises.
CLEANING OF SEPTIC TANK OR SEWAGE COLLECTION SUMP: Cleaning of Sewage Collection Sump / RCC septic tank / Hume Pipe Septic Tank of various size by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Vehicles. The rates are inclusive of removing silt, muck, solid material etc. and disposing the same by mechanical transport beyond 1-2 km. lead complete all as directed by EIC. Pumping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. The rates are inclusive of pumping. Note: Measurement will be as per Sewage Collection Tank / Septic Tank dimensions and solid waste depth will be measured for payment. Contractor should bring/arrange the required Sewage Transportation Vehicle from MCGM withing next 2days. Failingwhich Penalty may be imposed as per Tender Clauses / NIT Stipulations.

MAINTENANCE OF 5HP DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN PUMP SET (DEWATERING FLOOD CONTROL PUMP) and ensuring its proper operation on round-the-clock basis during the entire period of monsoon along with Pre-monsoon checking & conditioning of Diesel Engine Drivem Pump and and laying 200m PVC Pipes etc. complete for a period as directed by EIC, utilising for Monsoon Emergengy Response etc. and as directed by Engineering-in-Charge. Note: The rates including the cost of servicing & reparing of Pump/Equipment at BARC Hospital Premises only and will be valid throughout the Contract Period. Contractor should submit an Agreement with Authorised Pump Repairing Agency alongwith details of Qualified Pump Technician within the 15 days of issuing Work Order. Contractor should bring/arrange the Pump Technician at BARC Hospital Site within next 2days for servicing/maintenance/repairing of pumps after receiving instruction from EIC. Failingwhich Penalty may be imposed as per Tender Clauses / NIT Stipulations.

CARRYING OUT MANUAL MISC. CARPENTRY / PLUMBING / CIVIL / MASONRY JOBS like minor repairs, fixing fitting and fixtures etc. as and when required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Note: 1. Labours shall bring necessary carpentary / plumbing tools, minimum materials such as washher, taflon tape, rawlpludge, screws, clips etc. 2) Payment shall be made as per the Log book duly approved by the Enginner in charge. 3) Contrator shall arrange necessary Police Verification Certificate for the workers engaged for thess work. 4) The contractor shall deploy one skilled, semiskilled or unskilled person for each job for 8 1/2 hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period.-SEMI-SKILLED CARPENTERY/PLUMBING/MASONRY JOB / WORKS with valid Police Verification Certificate for entire contract period.
Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat.including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Mechanised cleaning of canteen drainage lines, sewer lines, storm water lines and all interconnecting lines between the chambers of various depths and removing muck, solids from manholes /Inspection chambers/septic tanks/collection wells of Canteen and toilets within the BARC premises & BARC Hospital, by high quality truck mounted Jetting cum Suction machine (Single vehicle for both operations) of minimum 6000 litres capacity and disposing off the same at the designated site within the BARC premises or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The quoted rate shall include providing manpower such as one driver, operator & helper (3 nos.) with tools, all PPE's and all safety equipments required to carry out the job. Note: (1)Pumping arrangements for water shall be made by contractor at his own cost. Water for jetting will be provided by department. (2)The jetting cum suction machine vehicle shall work 8 (eight) hours 30 (Thirty ) minutes per day basis with 30 minutes of break, inside the BARC premises and the hours will be calculated after reaching at working place, site, representative buildings etc. Parking space will be given at the time of continuous work condition with prior approval from competent authority. (3) All PPE's and all safety equipments are to be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost. (4) Payment shall be made according to hours calculated per vehicle on pro-rata basis. Also, in case of emergency night duty working hours, payment will be paid on pro-rata basis only and no extra payment shall be done. (5) In case emergency viz. if there is severe chockage at multiple locations, separate vechicle shall be arranged on the same day to carry out the work. (6) In case of failure of vehicle during cleaning operation, alternate vehicle shall be arranged by the contractor without any delay. (7) BARC being a strategic Organisation, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid PVC, driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. (8)The make and model of the vehicle should be of not more than 8 years old, roadworthy all valid documents. (9)The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with tyres of good condition. (10)The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. (11)The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. (12)The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. (13)The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). (14)The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. (15)The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. (16)No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract.
