M & L for rolled mild steel work angle iron as in door frame (Chowkhats) / cooler stand and other similar work including provn of 12mm dia deformed bar welded horizontally to bottom of frame confirming to Fe-290 or Fe-330 including preparing back of chowkhat and applying two coats tar and sanding newly tarred surfaces with clean sharp sand complete all as specified and directed.

S & F second class HW Hollock/Bonsum/Sal 35mm thick, factory made, plain framed, paneled shutter (Three panels) with panels of 9mm thick BWP grade ply wood bonded with high quality liquid phenol formal dehyde synthetic resin adhesive conforming to IS-710. The size of rails & style shall be as per IS-1003 (part-I) kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 & chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as per specified and directed.

S & F for 2nd class HW 35 mm thick, gauged and skeleton shutters (Three Panels), factory made open rebated and prepare to receive glass, gauge etc (with sash bar), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut & mitred beads for securing glass etc. Size of members of shutter shall be as specified in SSR 2009 Part-I, section 8 clause Member shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 & chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Steel window factory made, out of MS hollow section 79mm x 39mmx1.6mm thick frame with double shutter (glazed & wiregauged shutters) made out of Z section using flush butt welding and tennon riveting all as per IS 1038/83, dobby hinges shall be provided to both shutters, Locking arrangements as per sample approval by GE, provided with knob, 10mm MS square bars in grill, Z section handle 100mm size and 150mm long hook & eye welded to frame and shutter, four Nos lugs welded to frame inculding necessary flat iron beading for securing wire gauge etc including holes, cutting holes for hold fast and making good in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wire mesh and sheet glass shall be measured & paid separately under respective items.

For Non-Acessable Roof:- M&L for provn of water proofing roof treatment to RCC roof with APP modifed plain membrane, thickness of membrane not less than 3 mm and weighing not less than 3.60 kg/sqm comprising with following (a)The surface of roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths, etc. over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matter such as, fungus, moss, dust etc by wire brushing and dusting. For cast iron drain out lets a grove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment. Concrete angle-fillets shall be provided at junctions between roofs and vertical faces of walls (parapet and other walls) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners.incl 10mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 mix with water proofing compound under Bitumious based Primer conforming to IS: 3384 @ 0.3 Kg/SM to be applied on prepared surface, till the surface is properly impregnated.(c) After the application of approved bituminous primer the water proofing membrane shall be laid on the primed surface by torch application method as per manufacturer’s instruction. The overlap while torching shall be 100mm in longitudinal direction and 100mm in transverse direction. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer and selaing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer. (d) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane.(e) A fillet of PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 of 100x100mm shall be provided at all junctions of vertical and horizontal surfaces and wherever there is a change of direction. The membrane should not be taken over at any steep turns and hence all corners/timers should be rounded, Apply two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm complete all as per manufacturers instructions. complete all as per manufacturers instructions. after as specified and directed.
