SUPPLY and FIXING NEW EXTERNAL WINDOWS 1st FLOOR AFTER ROMOVING OLD WINDOW AT VIDHAN SABHA, LUCKNOW

Taking out doors, windows and clerestory window shutters (steel or wood) including stacking within 50 metres lead : Of area 3 sq. metres and below (DSR : 15.13.1)

Dismantling wood work in frames, trusses, purlins and rafters up to 10 metres span and 5 metres height including stacking the material within 50 metres lead : (DSR : 15.14.1)

Fixing chowkhats in existing opening including embedding chowkhats in floors or walls cutting masonry for holdfasts, embedding hold fasts in cement concrete blocks of size 15 x 10 x 10 cm with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), painting two coats of approved wood preservative to sides of chowkhats and making good the damages to walls and floors as required complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing customized bamboo scaffolding system on the inner side of the building upto height 15m, constructed using 50-75 mm diameter bamboo members placed at 1.5 metre intervals or as required both horizontally and vertically. The scaffolding shall be securely tied and braced with horizontal runners, diagonal bracings, and adequate connections to the building structure to ensure rigidity, stability, and safety during execution of work.The scaffolding shall be maintained in a safe and serviceable condition for the entire duration of its requirement and shall be dismantled and removed thereafter without causing damage to the building or adjacent works. The system shall include all necessary safety features for workmen and provisions to allow inspection and execution of work at all required locations, all as per the directions and approval of the Architect-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing Scaffolding net of required width made of high density Polyethylene UV stabilized knitted on warp knitting machines having density 100grams/sqm and shading coefficient minimum 75% around the construction site/ for vertical extension as per requirement including fastening/tying with building/scaffolding pipes or with any other fixtures etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (One time payment shall be made for providing Scaffolding net from start of work till completion of work including shifting if any. The Scaffolding net shall be the property of the contractor on completion of the work) (DSR : 26.81)

Providing,& fixing first-class Sal wood frame (chaukhat) of approved quality, size, and section, including planning, dressing, rebating, grooving, mortise , cutting, fitting, and fixing in position works, complete in all respects as per approved drawings, specifications, and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include , tools, & labour required for satisfactory completion of the work.

Providing First class teak wood window Shutters (Design 'B') as per Drawing & specification etc all as per direction of Architect In-charge. (AR)

Providing and fixing approved make tinted glass of specified thickness (5 mm or as specified), manufactured in accordance with relevant IS standards, cleaning and finishing complete in all respects, as per the approved shop drawings, manufacturer's specifications and the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying PU polish on window . This includes preparing the surfaces with IKEA base and sealing compound, followed by thorough scraping and rescraping to ensure a smooth base. The process involves sanding and applying the base coat three times before the final paint. The finish must be approved by the Architect-in-Charge.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (DSR : 13.80)
