Part A: Labour Wage Component & Liveries

Wages of Two (02) unskilled manpower to be paid on monthly basis for Civil Maintenance works at BKPL Lucknow and allied services. It includes Minimum basic wages (including additional payment) PF, ESI and Bonus (Note:-Rate is for two unskilled manpower)

Providing one set of liveries to each two manpower. The contractor has to submit original bill, upon verification of which by EIC, payment will be reimbursed. (Note:-Rate is for each manpower)

Contractor's overhead and profit against items 1.1 & 1.2

Part B: Miscellenaous civil work

EARTH WORK

Surface dressing and grading of the ground including removing vegetation and Leveling the undulations up to the depth of 15 cms (cutting and filling up to 15cm), removing the pebbles, stones, brick bats, wooden battens/logs and tree leaves and including disposal outside the IOCL premises to an unobjectionable area at no extra cost.

Earth work in excavation in hard rock requiring by chiselling/pneumatic drilling where blasting is prohibited, in both wet and dry condition for foundation, substructures, trenches, sumps, pits etc. to the following depths including shoring, strutting, trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water (if any), shoring, strutting, filling available excavated earth in trenches, foundation, plinth etc. and/or disposing the excess earth outside IOCL premises to an unobjectionable area with all leads & lifts, etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Site Engineer. Depth upto 1.5 m (measured from original ground level)

PLAIN/ REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE WORKS

Providing & laying in position Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) of specified grade at all depths in foundation, floor or other places including ramming, dewatering, providing centering, shuttering, staging, scaffolding, compacting with mechanical vibrator, removal of form work, finishing, curing with water, etc., inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Site Engineer. 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and laying structural Reinforced Cement Concrete of specified grade conforming to IS:456 in foundation, plinth, ramps, grade slab etc. all work up to plinth level including providing centering, shuttering, staging, scaffolding, form work, compacting with mechanical vibrator, finishing, curing with water etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Site Engineer. (Payment for Reinforcement shall be made as per relevant item of SOR). 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and fixing at or near ground level precast cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in kerbs, edgings etc. as per approved pattern and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand), including the cost of required centering, shuttering complete

MASONARY WORK

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth including curing, labour, materials, etc. complete. In Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 medium coarse sand)

PAINTING WORKS

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. Two or more coats

Surface preparation, supplying and painting two or more coats of weather proof acrylic smooth exterior emulsion paint of make ASIAN (APEX), BERGER or NEROLAC or equivalent on exterior walls over one coat of cement primer and wall putty where required as per specifications and of approved color and make including all scraping , removing unwanted material and scaffolding all complete.

Priming one coat on timber/steel or other metal surface with ready mixed oil based primer of ASIAN, BERGER or other equivalent approved quality including smoothening surface by sand papering etc complete with all labour and materials complete in all respects On steel or other metal surface with red oxide zinc chromate primer

Painting any shade as directed with best quality Synthetic Enamel of ASIAN, BERGER or other equivalent approved make and brand on steel/timber/plastic/metal including smoothening the surface by sand papering etc complete with all labour and materials complete in all respects as directed Two or more coats over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Painting any shade as directed with best quality Aluminium paints of ASIAN, BERGER or other equivalent approved make and brand on steel/timber/plastic/metal including smoothening the surface by sand papering etc complete with all labour and materials complete in all respects. Two or more coats

SANITARY & TOILET FITTINGS WORKS

Repairing the old urinal including removing the old one and making good the same including all labour and materials complete.

Supplying and installing of SINTEX or equivalent approved make over head water storage tank of following capacitites including all fittings like suction and delivery connections ,drain plug etc.The tank has to be placed on plain hard surface only,hence if not existing at site the brick masonary level platform shall be provided by the contractors for which separate payment under item rate shall be made. 1000 litres

Providing & fixing superior glass mirror of 5.5 mm thickness of approved quality complete with 6 mm thick ply back fixed with cleats and screws and washers. Mirror of 550 x 400 mm size

Providing and fixing towel rail complete with brackets fixed to wooden cleats with screws 600 x 20 mm size with C.P. brass

Providing and fixing 8 mm dia C.P./S.S. Jet with flexible tube upto 1 meter long with S.S. Triangular plate to Eureopean type W.C. Of quality and make as apprived by Engineer - in - charge.

Repairing the bibcock, stop cock, pillar cocks,flush cocks,push cock, ball cock etc by replacing necessary washer valve seat gland packing and any other working part etc as required complete.

Providing and fixing PVC connecting pipe to flushing tank, wash basin or geyser pipe of standard size including removing the damaged pipe and depositing the same to civil stores with all labour and material complete.

Providing and fixing PVC waste pipe with coupling for wash basin, sink and Urinal of standard length and dia with all labours and materials complete.

Supply and fixing C.I. brackets for wash basin including removing existing brackets if necessary & making the walls as per the original all complete.

Providing and fixing approved quality chromium plated nahni trap jali of size150 mm x 150 mm complete as directed.

STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS

Supplying, fabricating and erecting including embedding in RCC/ PCC in position MS structural steel section such as angle, tees, channels, beams and other standard sections, painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint of 25microns DFT each over a coat of Red Oxide steel primer of 25micron DFT including cleaning the surface of mill scales, rusts, oil, grease and weld slags etc. by hand cleaning, welding as per IS 800, including the cost of all materials, transportation, welding, labour, tools, tackles, consumables, power etc. complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge/ Site Engineer. The item shall be paid for in Metric Tonne. Members fabricated from rolled steel sections/plates/strips etc. for manhole covers,gates,grills and other items

DISMANTLING WORKS

Dismantling R.C.C. work of all mixes in foundation and superstructure manually/ mechanical means including disposal of unserviceable material, scaffolding, breaking the RCC work into pieces, cutting the reinforcement with hacksaw etc. with all labour, tools, supervision, safety permits, safety precautions, etc. complete.

Demolishing brick work (in cement mortar) manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing cement concrete manually including disposal of unserviceable material as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting road and making good the same including supply of extra quantities of material i.e. Aggregate, moorum screening, red bajri and labour required for bituminous portion

GENERAL WORKS

Repairing damaged plastered wall or flooring by rendering necessary patch work including removing the existing damaged plaster or IPS, raking out the joints of brick work, cleaning the surface and filling the depressions with reinforcement mortar & neat cement punning,levelling the surface curing etc. complete with all labour, materials & scaffolding etc.including removing the debris as directed.

Repairing and servicing the existing aluminium door or window by realigning the door, repairing, servicing, oiling, greasing etc complete and making it in perfect working condition with all labour and materials etc, complete up to any size.

Providing and fixing double action hydaulic floor spring of approved brand and manufacture conforming to IS : 6315, having brand logo embossed on the body/ plate with double spring mechanism and door weight upto 125 kg, for doors, including cost of cutting floors, embedding in floors as required and making good the same matching to the existing floor finishing and cover plates with brass pivot and single piece M.S. sheet outer box with slide plate etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. with stainless steel cover plate minimum 1.25 mm thickness

Supplying and providing Modi Float plane glass for table top of 8mm thickness including cost of all materials, transportation, fixing in position after smooth grinding of edges etc.

Supplying and fixing in position the table cloth (Velvet) of approved brand and quality of colour and shade as approved by EIC complete in all respects.

Scrapping & removing old water proofing treatment including damaged thermocole base and removing the debris upto a distance of 3 Km as directed.

Providing & laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/ltr and viscocity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane.

Providing the cleaning material such as Harpic, Phenyl, Duster, Broom, room freshner, Odonil, naptha balls etc. As per the direction of Site Engineer and E.I.C.
