Replacement of 300 NB damaged penstock common drain header MS Pipeline from Unit-7 to Unit-8 at Sharavathy Generating Station, Jogfalls

Dismantling of old concrete pedestals and blocks constructed for the pipeline support by cleaning and excavating the ground soil from Unit-7 to Unit-8 common drain header Pipeline.Dismantling of penstock drain valve chamber wall & Concrete of Unit-7 and removing the damaged penstock drain pipeline from Unit-7 & Unit-8 at rear side of the power house up to the accessibility of damaged pipeline. Shifting of new 300NB pipelines provided by KPCL to the work area and stacking the same at specified place as per site Engineer requirement. Fabrication of 300NB high pressure pipeline provided by KPCL by high class welder as per the existing required length and site dimensions by cutting, grinding and welding works using flanges. Installation of new 300NB high pressure penstock drain pipeline provided by KPCL using site suitable high tensile steel stud bolts and nuts along with washers. Pressure testing of new 300NB high pressure penstock drain pipeline by high pressure penstock water after compete erection and replacement work. Construction of concrete pedestals and blocks for support of new pipelines and construction of penstock drain valve chamber wall & Concrete after completion of work.Detailed specification and scope of work is furnished in Section - III Technical Specifications and Scope of Work attached in the e-portal.
