PART A : CIVIL WORKS

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: Important Notes:1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10

a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Polymer used for this work in KG shall be measured for payment.

Plain cement concrete using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including consolidation, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairing of loose / shaky vitrified tile flooring/ green marble/granite stone frames at all floors and levels using polymer modified cement based tile adhesive manufactured by Roffe Construction – NSA (Non Skid Adhesive) or M/s Bal Endura Chemicals– Gold Star or other approved equivalent. The repairing process will consists of following. (1) Complete checking by tapping of affected flooring area using solid wooden stick. Identifying the affected tiles for repair work. (2) Drilling holes through tiles and widenining of tile joints using cutter as per requirement. (3) Breaking of tiles and removing backing adhesive from original flooring, cleaning etc (If Required). Checking the original flooring by tapping using solid wooden stick and repairing of original flooring by breaking the original mosaic / cement tile flooring and filling with 1:3 cement sand mortar, curing etc complete. (4) Grouting the tile flooring using tile adhesive slurry through drilled holes, widened joints, opening made by tile breaking using trowel etc and by tapping of floor tiles etc. (5) Sealing of drilled holes, widened joints using white cement cleaning of flooring, removal of debris and disposal of debris inside colony. (6). Removing and refixing of Aluminium window/door shutter/MS grill for repairing work. After the repairing works (7) Complete checking by tapping of repaired flooring area using solid wooden stick after 7 days of repairing work in presence of departmental representative. The repaired work shall not make any hollow sound, loose/shaky motion of tiles. The entire repairing work shall be carried out as per direction and instrcutions of engineer-in-charge.

(a) Area of flooring for which grouting of joints and backing mortar done using tile adhesive.

(b) Removing loose / shaky vitrified floor tiles and refixing the same using polymer modified cement based tile adhesive manufactured by Roffe Construction – NSA (Non Skid Adhesive) or M/s Bal Endura Chemicals– Gold star, including removal of loose/shaky tiles cleaning back side of tile and removal of tile adhesive from existing floor area, cleaning etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position at all floors, levels / heights 18 mm thick mirror polished natural stones slab for door frame in two overlapping layers one piece full length / height of approved shade, finished sizes as directed including machine cut / hand cut, final cleaning, moulding and polishing of exposed edges, in line, level, plumb and fixing the stone with cm 1:4 (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only), 20mm backing & overlapping of 20mm shall be fixed with Araldite adhesive, with best workmanship, finishing, curing, including removing existing door frame, shutter & fittings etc.and depositing the same at dept store etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the EIC. Note:- 1) All finished natural stones except for floorings shall be applied with araldite or equivalent stone adhesive on back surface ,spreading/splashing of sand particles on adhesive applied surface before a day of fixing of stones. 2) Window jamb, cill & lintel bottom with granite / gren marble shal be mitred / partly mitred joint as directed by Eingineer-In-Charge. 3)Exposed surface on Elevation & exposed vertical finished face shall be measured for payment in sqm. Overlapping & edges etc shall not be measured.

Providing & laying machine cut machine polished Cuddapah stones/granite stone/marble stone as mentioned followings for kitchen platform vertical support /shelves /window cill etc and including necessary cement mortar for backing/ bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing etc, as required including cutting of stone slabs,wastage, making cut outs wherever required etc all as per drg, specifications and as directed by EIC. Note : 1)Verticals,shelves,platform shall be embedded minimum 25 mm in wall/flooring. 2)Exposed inside vertical finished face of window below platform shall be measured for payment in sqm.

a) 18 mm thick machine cut and single side machine polished Baroda green marble stone for window cill in stepped form laid over 20 mm thick 1:4 cement mortar (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) & overlapping of 20 mm shall be fixed with Araldite adhesive with best workmanship, including half round moulding & polishing of exposed face etc complete. Note:- 1) All finished natural stone except for flooring & Platform shall be applied with aralide or equivalent stone adhesive on back surface, spreading/ splashing of sand particles on adhesive applied surface before a day of fixing of stones. 2) Window jamb, cill & lintel bottom with granite / gren marble shal be mitred / partly mitred joint as directed by Eingineer-In-Charge. 3)Exposed inside vertical finished face of window below platform shall be measured for payment in sqm. 4)Agencies shall quote rate accordingly.

b) 18 mm thick machine cut and single side machine polished Baroda green marble stone for window jamb & Top of lintel in single piece laid over 20 mm thick 1:4 cement mortar (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) including half round moulding & polishing of exposed face etc complete. Note:- 1) All finished natural stone except for flooring & Platform shall be applied with aralide or equivalent stone adhesive on back surface, spreading/ splashing of sand particles on adhesive applied surface before a day of fixing of stones. 2) Window jamb, cill & lintel bottom with granite / gren marble shal be mitred / partly mitred joint as directed by Eingineer-In-Charge. 3) Exposed inside vertical finished face of window below platform shall be measured for payment in sqm. 4) Agencies shall quote rate accordingly.

Removing and refixing of existing Green marble /Jet Black Granite 18mm thick window/door/lift sub-frame with similar marble including removing and refixing carefully the existing MS grill and aluminium window with all fasteners screws etc including necessary heavy quality approved make SS screws, washer, silicon sealant etc and including disposal of debris in side colony at designated location. As the entire repairing work shall be carried out as per specifications, direction and instrcutions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of machine cut and both side polished minimum 35 mm thick Cuddapah stone for shelves of cup board/Kitchen including removing of old damaged wooden/RCC shelves and making Nitches all the three sides of cup board very carefully and fixing cuddapah with cement mortar and re-instaling the surrounding as per existing including disposal of debries within colony all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying at all floors & levels first quality matt finished/non slippery ceramic tiles of minimum thickness as specified by the manufacturer of M/S. H&R JHONSON (INDIA) Ltd. or euqivalent approved make of approved colors, shade and texture in flooring / dado / skirting as per approved pattern. incluidng cost of all materials, including of cutting the tiles to required shape, wastage, pointing the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to line, level, slope & plumb, final cleaning of surface as required, curing , making necessary opening cutouts etc. and including removing existing flooring / dado and disposing of debris complete all as per specifications, relevent IS code & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note-: Agency may visit the flats for old & new series being used for Kitchen,Bath and toilets and quote rate accordingly.

a) In dado / Skirting with tiles of 300X450mm( approx size) similar to combination of Infinity aqua/red/beach and infinity white of Higlihter series and latest series as approved being used of M/s H&R johnson (India) Limited) including 12 mm thick. fixed over 12 mm thick using 1:4 ready mix cement mortar backing/fixed directly over existing tile with polymer cum cement based adhesive(Type-II) manufactured by roffe construction or M/S Bal Endura chemicals or other approved equivalent, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting/dado etc. complete.

b) In Dado / skirting with tiles of size 300 x 450 mm ( approx size) similar to Digital HD series tile Linea blue/snow white latest series as approved being used of M/s H&R johnson (India) Limited or euqivalent approved make fixed over 12 mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:4 backing/ fixed directly over existing tile with polymer cum cement based adhesive(Type-II) manufactured by roffe construction or M/S Bal Endura chemicals or other approved equivalent jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting/dado etc. complete.

Jacketing and strengthening of R.C.C. column with free flow self compacting micro concrete made with Roff concrete Repair (Super flow micro concrete) manufactured by M/S. Roff construction chemical, (or) Renderoc RG manufactured by M/s. Fosroc chemicals (India) limited (or) ESSEN construction chemical or other approved equivalent make, which consist of dismantling loose concrete along with plaster, cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly with wire brush and finally with acetone, making micro concrete by mixing prepacked dry micro concrete and water in proportion as prescribed by the manufacture, mixing them thoroughly for 5 minutes for achieving free flow state of micro concrete, pouring the micro concrete in layers, compacting the concrete by blowing strokes with 16 mm steel rod, curing for 10 days (curing shall be commenced immediately after 4 hours of pouring concrete) etc. including providing shuttering and disposal of debris inside colony at the designated location etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE: Measurement shall be taken as per actual consumption of pre-packed dry micro concrete in Kg. used for structural repairing work.

Reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete conforming to IS at all floors & levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed binding wire including cost of binding wire, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Note:Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor & the same will not be measured for payment.

a) With high yield strength deformed bars Fe 500D grade.

Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix' of M/s. Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s. Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s. Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s. Anuvi Chemicals, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. and removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris in side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

a) 12 mm thick

a) 15 mm thick.

Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris inside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:1.The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost . No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquiant himself with the condition of building.

Pressure grouting through RCC slab / brick masonry by drilling hole in RCC slab to required depth without causing any damaged to reinforcement, inserting ½” dia PVC pipe in hole securing the hole sides with mortar 1:2, pressure grouting with cement slurry mixed with approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement to required pressure, continuing the pressure grouting till the flow of cement slurry stops, removing the PVC pipe, sealing the hole with cement mortar 1:1, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer – in – Charge.

White washing for ceiling & walls of rooms and staircases in two coats on old works with lime of approved quality by adding blue and glue in required quantity including scaffolding, scrapping, wherever required,cleaning the surface with sand paper and fibre broom and filling the cracks, holes, with approved putty and making even surfaces etc. complete as per specifications including cleaning of floors, doors, windows etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 3 mm on ceiling to prepare the surface even and smooth, of approved brand and manufacturer including nesssary scaffolding etc, complete all as per manufacturer’s specifications. etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying one coat of cement based grey putty of M/s Roofit mix or other approved euivalent make over entire surface including preparing old painted surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash etc, filling up the cracks, crevices, depression, holes, spray curing for three day etc, including sand papering and making surfaces even and smooth dusting /cleaning, scaffolding , covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or eqivalent covering materials, cleaning of all surfaces etc.& disposing of debris inside colony at designated location etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats synthetic oil bound distemper of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer, including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices mild depression etc. scaffolding including cleaning of floors, doors & windows etc.& disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats FLAT oil paint of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer, including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to filling up crevices, mild depression etc. scaffolding including cleaning of floors, doors & windows etc.& disposing of debris inside colony at designated location etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of acrylic emulsion paint of approved make & shade over two coats ofapproved primer (alkali resistant) consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling up the cracks with approved crack filling compound , applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer carrying out full stucco puttywork , apply two coats of acrylic emulsion paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of Royal luxary acrylic emulsion paint of approved make & shade over two coats of approved primer (alkali resistant) consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling up the cracks with approved crack filling compound , applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer carrying out full stucco puttywork , apply two coats of acrylic emulsion paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted wooden/steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint using first quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade over one coat of approved wood/steel primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty scaffolding and cleaning etc. including removing old paint by scrapping, blowlamp etc.complete all as directed by the EIC.

Providing and applying three finished coats of exterior grade acrylic based emulsion (Over sand faced plastered surfaces / RCC Jalli / fins ) of Apex Ultima of M/s. Asian Paints / Excel of M/s. Nerolac / Heatshield of M/s. Dr.FIXIT / Weathershield Max of M/s. ICI Delux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / rough cast plaster/ RCC jalli / RCC fins at locations as required, including preparation in proportion of One litre of Apex Ultima or other makes with 400 ML. of potable water, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 4-6 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.27 ltr/Sqm for 3 coats, including scaffoliding ,preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the EIC.

Applying three coats of Touch wood of approved make & tint to obtain finish as required over a coat of wood filler including sand papering, cleaning, filling up holes, cracks & crevices with putty etc. complete to give an uniform shade etc., complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting soling/water bound macadam road portion etc. and stacking the serviceable material and disposing of unserviceable material within colony etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by theEngineer-in-Charge.

Demolishing RCC works by chiseling at all levels including scaffolding,cutting of reinforcement bars by gas cutting, straightening and stackingof steel bars and disposal of unserviceable materials complete all per specification & as directed by theEngineer-in-Charge.

Demolishing brick /stone masonry in cement mortar and plaster at all floors & levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposing of unserviceable materials etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) Brick/Stone masonary work.

Providing and laying at all floors and levels Vitrified tiles of first quality Marbonite of M/S H&R JHONSON (INDIA) Ltd or other equivalent approved make of approved colour, shade, pattern and of thickness as per manufacture's specifications, laid directly over tile, using polymer cum cement based adhesive (Type -II as per IS) manufactured by M/S Roffe construction or M/s Bal Endura chemicals or other approved equivalent in respect of flooring and fixed over 12 mm thick backing using ready mix cement mortar 1:3 in respect of skirting , close jointed and grouted white /colour cement slurry with pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings / cut out where necessary including wastage for odd shape of room and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per specification,relevent IS code & as directed by the EIC.

a) In flooring with tiles of approx. size 600 mm x 600 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White)/ Perlato/Athelon of M/s H& R Johnson (I) ltd. laid directly over existing tile using tile on tile polymer cum cement based adhesive.

b) In Dado / skirting with tiles of size 600 x 100 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White) of M/s H& R Johnson (I) ltd laid over 12 mm thick CM 1:3 backing, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting etc. complete, including dismantling the existing dado/skirting tile and backing cement mortar disposal of debris in side colony etc. complete.

c) In flooring with tiles of approx. size 600 mm x 600 mm similar to RIGATO DC of M/s H& R Johnson laid directly over existing tile using tile on tile polymer cum cement based adhesive.

d) In Dado / skirting with tiles of size 600 x 100 mm laid (RIGATODC) over 12 mm thick CM 1:3 backing, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting etc. complete, including dismantling the existing dado/skirting tile and backing cement mortar disposal of debris in side colony etc. complete.

e) In flooring with tiles of approx. size 600 mm x 600 mm similar to Salt & paper (Grey)laid directly over existing tile using tile on tile polymer cum cement based adhesive.

f) In Dado / skirting with tiles of size 600 x 100 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (Grey) of M/s H& R Johnson (I) ltd laid over 12 mm thick CM 1:3 backing, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting etc. complete, including dismantling the existing dado/skirting tile and backing cement mortar disposal of debris in side colony etc. complete.

a) In flooring with tiles of size 300 x 300 ( approx size ) similar to white / ivory / other approved colour quartze series of M/s H& R Johnson or euqivalent approved make with 20 mm thick 1:4 ready mix Cement mortar bedding.

Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope & the horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance / repair works of external surfaces of buildings as &when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers,dismantling the scaffolding after repair work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: The mode of measurement shall be in square metre for the overall portion of external exposed surface area of buildings covered by scaffolding and the said area shall be measured flat. No deductions shall be made for any openings in the surface and the jambs / reveals.

a) Double Scaffolding

Providing and fixing second class teak wood in frames of required sections for doors, windows, ventilators, clear storey window, partition, railing, battens & rafters etc.wrought framed and fixed in position including providing and fixing M.S. hold fasts of size 200 x 30 x 3 mm embedded in concrete block of P.C.C. 1:3:6 and labour for fixing frame in position including applying one coat of approved wood primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint to the exposed surfaces and two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry/ concrete etc. including removing the old damaged frames transporting to Deptt. Stores and making the adjacent plaster good to match with existing surfaces, etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the sunken etc. giving injections to the concrete surface as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill all inherent holes, voids, honey-combs etc. in the concrete, applying waterproof plaster of about 25 mm thick for the floor areas of the depression and about 18 mm on the side walls of the depression and continue the vertical treatment on the walls above the proposed floor finish upto a height of 600 mm with surface suitable and even to receive tiles, including applying one coat of zycosil coating with ( 1 zycoil : 20 Water ) solution testing the treatment for water tightness by impounding water for 7 days etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
