Clean removal of Cement plaster from walls

Dismantling and clearing away and carefully stacking the materials useful for reuse of Floor finish and dadooing walls in cement mortar with mosaic tiles / glazed tiles / cuddapah slabs.

Reconstruction of brick partition walls of following thickness using best quality II class ground moulded chamber burnt bricks of size 9" x 4-3/8" x 2 3/4" in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) using hoop iron reinforcement if found necessary including curing etc. complete and as directed by the departmental officers. (Hoop iron reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately).

S.S. in Ground floor (11.50cm)

Supplying and erecting steel centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29m height for plane surfaces such as RCC floor slab, roof slab, rectangular, square tee or ell beams, lintels, staircase, waist slab, landing slab, landing beam, portico slab, portico beams in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cmX60cm and 10 gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of sizes 25mmX25mmX3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10x6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre suppported by casurina props 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

For Plane surface such as RCC floor slabs, roof slabs, rectangular beams, Tee beams, Ell beams, lintels, landing slabs, waist slabs, canopy slabs etc.

Relaying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS 456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite store jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ration of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser/Super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improveworkability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m.) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing etc., and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor / roof slabs wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of walls, beams etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of mateials).

S.S. in Ground Floor.

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification. and as directed by the departmental officers. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire).

Renewing the damaged fine polished cuddapah slab of following thickness for cup-board arrangements including laying to correct alignment with necessary cement mortar and black powder etc, complete complying with standard specification and as direct. 38/40mm thick.

Renewing the damaged flooring with plain ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 6 mm laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works).

Redadooing walls with following best approved quality, white / colour glazed tiles of following sizes set in Cement Mortar 1:2 (One Cement and Two sand) 10mm thick and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.40 Kg. / sq.m. neatly in all floors, curing, etc., complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dadooing with printed design colour glazed tiles of size 300mm x 450mm x 8mm.

Repaving the floor with pre-polished concrete anti-skid step tiles (Required shape and design) of 20mm thick of approved quality and colour laid in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.40 Kg. / sq.m., curing, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works).

Renewing the damaged floor with best quality Stain Free Nano Polish Vetrified Tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three M-sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed with the white cement mixed same colour pigments etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be Johnson / Kajaria / Somany / Nitco / RAK which has to be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)

Renewing the damaged floor with best approved quality fine polished Kota stone slabs of size 600 x 600 below of 18 / 20mm with machine cut edges and matching marble slab not less than 100mm width other than Adanga Marbles as border laid over a cement mortar bed of 20mm thick using cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) fixing the slabs in true right angles with minimum possible width of joints and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with mathcing colouring pigments and polishing with floor polisher to a high degree of finish etc., The kota stone slabs and other materials to be used shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer concerned before use on work, etc., complete as per standard speicification.

Renewing the damaged Stainless Steel Hand rails for staircase using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick at required locations to a height of 900mm from finished floor level welded to 38mm dia Stainless Steel pipe post of 1.00mm thick as vertical at 900mm centre with 2 Nos. of 25mm dia intermediate horizontal stainless steel pipe of 1.60mm thick in between. The vertical pipe has to be welded to the 100 X 100 X 6mm MS base plate encased in the base concrete. The rate is inclusive of the charges for cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, conveyance, electrical charges, etc. complete.

Renewing the damaged and installation of 70mm x 70mm MS square tube post with base plate including cost of erection and welding, finishing with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a primer coat including cost of transportation, loading and unloading erection and dismantling if any needed and redoing the same to original condition etc., complete.

Replastering and finishing the exposed surface of all RCC items of work such as slabs, beams, sunshades, facia, canopy slab, staircase waist slab, landing slab etc., with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 10mm thick including hacking the surfaces, providing cement mortar nosing, beading for sunshades, staircases, steps, landing slabs and curing, etc., in all floors complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering with Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five sand), 12mm thick in all floors including curing etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Repainting the walls with two coats of oil bound distember including cost for distemper, primer, cleaning and scraping the walls, rendering the walls smooth with necessary putty, brushes, scaffolding arrangements, labour charges, etc., as per standard specification. (The colour and shade of the distemper shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use of work).

Repainting the walls with two coats of cement paint as instructed by the departmental officers including preparation of surface curing, etc., complete in all floors complying with standard specifications (The colour and shade of the cement paint shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use of work).

Repainting two coats of old plastered wall surface with ready mixed plastic exterior emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour without primer including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Repainting old iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc. with two coats of best approved first quality and colour in all floors etc., including cost of scrapping charges complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works)

Repainting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors excluding cost of priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works).

Repainting old wood works with two finishing coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over one coat priming coat in all floors including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Exe.Engr.beforeuse on works).

Renewing and refixing the flush door of 35mm thick solid core flush shutter with commercial ply on both sides with over the plywood fixing 4mm thick OST vaneer sheet on both sides and over with melamine polishing with teak wood lipping alround 35 mm thick bilded with liquid phenol formaldehyde with resin and including labour charges for fixing the shutter to the frams and for fixing the shutterto the frams and fixing anodized aluminium furniture fittings such as bolt hinges 125 x 30mm one aldrop 250mm x 150m long each one Alu. powder coated handle one no and door round lock with screws one no of rubber brush 40 x 60mm one no number of door stopper to the shutters materials and labour etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Repairing the Windows and refixing the same in position with necessary screws, hook and handle after attending to petty repairs etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Renewing the damaged steel doors with the following specification, MS Angle of size 40 x 40 x 6mm at 3.5 Kg / m are used for outer frames and MS Angle of size 35 x 35 x 5mm at 2.6 Kg / m for the shutter frames. Stiffeners with MS Flat 32 x 6mm at 1.50 Kg / m is provided for fixing the aldrop for the door and welded intact 18 gauge CR Sheet is laid as panel in the shutters and welded intact of 1/3 bottom portion of the shutters, 2/3 portion at top provided with MS Grill at 20 Kg / m2 as per design and laid as panel in the shutters. Necessary 'J' section having MS Angle 46 x 25 x 3mm at 2.38 Kg /m is provided in between MS Grill and CR Sheet for compact fixing of the grill and sheet in position. The design and style for the upper panel shoule be approved by the departmental officers. MS Flat 18 x 5mm at 0.7 kg / m is welded as additional stiffeners at the rear side of the shutter in the bottom panel for strength and durability. MS Flat 32 x 3mm at 1.10 Kg / m is provided over the edge of one shutter in case of double door, to conceal the gap between the shutters. and 4 Nos. of hinges in double leaf doors are provided at an appropirate place in the outer frame. 6 Nos. of hold fasts of 200mm in length spliced at the ends are welded to the outer frame of the door. Tower bolts 2 Nos. one at top and the other at the bottom are provided. In case of double leaf door one number aldrop is provided at an appropirate place in the doors; two numbers aldrop in single leaf door. A tie bar is provided at the bottom of the outer frame to prevent twistng of frame during transportation or fixing. All members are given one coat of red oxide primer as directed by the departmental officers. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour charges, taxes, transportation to site of work, loading, unloading and all other incidental charges, etc., complete.

Renewing the damaged steel window with new steel window with the following specifications: The outer frame of windows made out of 'Z' section(F7D) of size 33 x 25 x 3mm @ 1.419kg/m and conforming to IS7452-1990. and mullions are made of (f4B) 'J" section of size 46 x 25x 3mm confirming to IS 7452/1990. The shutters are openable shutter should not be exceed a width of 600mm horizontal stiffneers made out of MS flats 18x 5mm is to be provided at equal intervals. The shutter panels shall be covered with 18 gauge MS sheet two numbers of sturdy hinges and one number of handle cum latch of special type shall be fixed for each openable shutter and suitable openingshall be left for its easy operation one number of adjustable window stay width locking bracket of sufficient length shall be provided for each shutter 4 Nos.of 40 x 40 x 3mm hold fast of 230mm length shall be welded to the outer frames at appropriate point MS square guard bars of 12mm size shall bewelded to the outer frames at appropriate point. MSsquare guard bars of 12mm size shall be welded tothe inner face of the window at equal intervals not exceeding 10cm spacing. The shutter shall be open out side and all members shalls be painted with one coat of red oxide primer. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials, labour charges for fixing,transportation to the site of work, loading andunloading charges and all other incidential charges etc., complete as directed by the departmental officer.

Renewing and refixing in barbed wire fencing over compound wall top with angle of size 50mmx50mmx6mm and barbed wire fixing with horizontal and including cost of all materials, labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Renewing and refixing the GYP BOARD using perforated sheets 10mm thick FALSE CELING and fixing with a new Gyp Board false ceiling which includes shaped GI channels of size 25x25x0.50 mm thick suspended from ceilling at 1.2 m both longitudinal and cross vertical support and fixing shaped GI channels of size 50x30 x0.50 mm and 150x10x0.50 mm thick at 0.60m centre longitudinal and cross difrection for vertical supports and fixing U shaped GI channels of size 50x30x0.50 mm thick and 50 x10x0.50 mm thick at 0.60 m centre to centre in cross direction and respectively forhorizantal supports of zig-zag pattern and fixing of Gyp board in the panel provided in the desing pattern given and sprating the standard spection and as directed by the departmental officers. The rate shall be inclusive of finishing the edges and wall junctions with suitable lipping and cornice arrangements.

Renewing and refixing thermocole false ceiling arrangements with aluminium anodized "T" section and "L" angle frame work, grid of size 60x60cm with aluminium "T" section 25x25x2.8mm "L" angle of size 25x25x2mm thick and the same is supported at suitable intervals by adjustable type 6mm dia M.S. rod with suitable threaded nuts suspended rods hung from ceiling at 120cm, centre to centre in logitudinal section and60cm at middle portion.60x60cm panels should be covered with 20mm thick thermocole sheet in the grid so as to give a seat to false ceiling including painting the 6mm dia MS rods etc., complete complying with standard specifications. Necessary openings and arrangements for fixing electrical fittings should be provided with suitable frame work etc., complete.

Renewing and refixing WPC Frame with Door Shutter. Door frame of size 0.10 x 0.07m and shutter 25mm thick. Including fixing labour charges and furniture fittings, such as 4 nos, 4'' butt hinges, 2 Nos, 6'' brass tower, bolts 2 nos, 4'' handle, door stoper including cost of labour for fixing charges, transport charges etc., complete.

Renewing and refixing in position of aluminium anodized natural colour matt finish 1/3 glazed 2/3 Perlaminated particle board partition with alu, box section No: 20062, 20063 of size 63.50mm x 38.10mm x 1.28mm, 1.41mm @ 0.818kg/m, horizontal members are spaced at 90cm c/c and to vertical members are spaced at 1.20m, 2.10m and 2.80m ht. From floor level, panels should be covered with 12mm thick prelaminated exterrior grade at 2/3 portion of partition and 4mm thick plain glass covered at 1/3 portion of the partition with necessary alu, clips of size 19mm x 17.30mm x 0.90mm @ 0.124Kg/m, 'L' angle screws etc., The aluminium surface is to be anodized with matt finish under electrically controlled condition in accordance with ISI 1868/1962 specification for an average anodic film thickness & cost of materials conveyance scaffolding if any required etc and necessary dismantling making holes in RCC brick masonry wherver necessary with power drill to the extent requried and made good to the original condition after fixing the partition as directed by the departmental officers. UPVC Ventilator Specification: Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Louvered Ventilators of from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile size of 60 x 78mm both profiles are reinforced with GI/1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profile are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with all over the edges of frame and shutter. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned.
