STANDBY POWER SUPPLY

Supply, installations, commissioning and testing of eco friendly Diesel Engine driven generating set silent type conforming to CPCB IV conditions/ norms, 125 KVA (100 KW) rating as per BS 5514, 04 cylinder inline 4 stroke cycle, water cooled turbo charge at 1500 RPM, 415V (AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 Hz at 0.8 power factor directly coupled alternator and engine, water cooled, mounted on common base plate of rigid fabricated mild steel frame platform with floor mounted fuel of tank suitable capacity (minimum 12 hours capacity of consumption) and including all excavation, PCC foundation, anti vibration pad, dampers including standard control panel other accessories as per manufacturers design. The generator set should be fitted with integrated acoustic enclosure manufactured by the OEM of the generating set . The generating set and acoustic enclosure shall confirm to emission norms and noise level. The acoustic enclosure shall be type tested and certificate obtained for the type approved from approved agencies listed in government notifications. Specification of DG set shall be as specified and comprising of the fwg:- Make of OEM :- (i) M/s Koel Green (ii) M/s Sudhir Power ltd (iii) M/s Greaves Power.

(a) Engine (Prime mover):- Diesel engine vertical type of adequate capacity for 125 KVA (100 KW), 04 cylinder inline, 04 stroke cycle, water cooled turbo charged, at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS : 5514, turbo charged water cooled, compression ratio 18.3:1, 12 Volts 120 Ah electric battery start, complete with fly wheel and all standard fittings, fixtures as per manufacturer instructions including suitable engine control panel / dash board with electronic tachometer, lubrication oil, temperature and pressure gauges water temp gauge and frequency (digital type) including safety automatic shut down in case of fault such as high water temp low oil pressure, over speed etc including self starter, alternator, cogged, V belt, fuel tank with first fill of lub oil and coolant (as applicable) etc complete all as specified and directed. Make of Engine :- Kirloskar, Cummins & greaves power (b) Alternator :- Alternator AC, 3 phase 415V, 4 wire rated line current form output 125 KVA, pf 0.8 1500 RPM, confirming to BS 5000 directly coupled with above engine. The alternator shall be brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self exited, self regulated through an AVR. The alternator has the following features:- (i) + 0.5% voltage regulations (max) in static conditions. (ii) IP 23 protection with insulation class H (iii) Permissible overload of 10% for 01 hours in 12 hours of operation.

(iv) Anti-vibration pads for mounting engine and alternator assembly on the base frame / plate or as recommended / provided by the manufacturer. (c) Base frame made out of structural steel as per manufacturer’s recommended design / specifications. (d) Acoustic Enclosure Provision of an integral type approved/ certified acoustic enclosure. It shall be made of 16 SWG or manufacturer’s standard norms out of CRCA sheet with powder coated finished on outside and provided with non-igniting fire retardant foam as acoustic material of suitable thickness and perforated sheet of stainless steel as per manufacturer’s design. The doors and glass window shall be as per manufacturer’s design. The base frame shall of ISMC. It shall also include the following:- (i) Silencer, suitable exhaust , residential grade silencer to reduce the noise level. (ii) Internal wiring with PVC copper cable (ISI 694 marked) FRLSH in conduit for light and fan point lamp fittings including lamp.

Supply ,laying and jointing 95 Sqmm, 3.5 Core cross sectional area Low Tension,1100 V grade, underground XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminum conductor laid in trench/passing through GI tubing complete including making both side connections with cable lugs fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in Charge. ( Note: GI protection pipe and earth work shall be meaured and paid separately.)

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation of pole, laying of cable and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning and filling excavated soil including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25mm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtrs above the starting points complete all as spcified and directed.

M/L for Sand cushioning for underground cable 8 cm below and 15 cm above the cable with clean dry river sand in trenches including spreading, leveling etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Punned down thickness 18 cm shall be measured and paid.

M & L of old size sub class bricks B class for protection of cable laid dry and flat adjacent to each other perpendicular to direction of cable complete all specified and directed.

Supply and laying GI tubing 50mm bore GI tubing light grade with all fitting laid in trenches, fixed to well etc complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32mmx6mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe with funnel & wire mesh, including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, GI pipe beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 2 Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 2 Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

COOLING APPLIANCES

Supply ,installation ,testing and commissioning split type AC (outdoor and indoor) of capacity 1.5 Ton 5 star rating with EER 3.2 electric driven , single phase, indoor and outdoor unit with coordless remote control and with in built air ionizer and plazma filter for better indoor air quality , necessary suction and discharge copper pipe lines from inner unit to outer units duly insulated including welding, brazing to make leak proof, 15mm or higher size bore PVC pipe of superior quality for dranige of condensed water including suitable stand for mounting unit as per manufacturer's instructions including connection using PVC insulated and sheathed copper conductor cable 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) 3/4 core cable from indoor unit to outdoor unit.with cable of required size upto DB enclosure including taking out old unserviceable split AC any capacity , any loacation and depositing the same to MES store complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnnecting / dismantling old unserviceable AC Plant of Capacity 8.75 TR, alongwith cooling tower and other connected items complete from site (PMS-I) and depositing the same to MES yard including necessary transportation and T&P if required at site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING

(i) Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Comissioning of central AC plant 22 TR comprising Microprocessor based water cooled package unit of nominal capacity minimum 11 TR x 03 units (02 working + one standby) suitable for year round air conditioning to maintain inside conditions DB 23 ± 3 degree C and RH 55 ± 5%, 02 air changes / hour, equipment load 5 KW and occupancy load 6 persons under GE (AF) Chandigarh for outside condition of Air Force Station Chandigarh as per IMD data, Multi circuit, Hermetically sealed Scroll type compressor suitable for operation on R-407/410a refrigerants, with all necessary refrigerant controls, Cooling coils having multi row copper tubes and hydraulically bonded aluminium fins including electrical connection Evaporator blower section made of galvanised steel sheet, statistically and dynamically balanced fan designed for quiet operation, suitable capacity motor for 415 + 5% Volts, 50c/s, 3 Phase AC supply, complete with all accessories such as MS watering pipes, butterfly valve, balancing valve, NRV, pot strainer or y strainer, Ball valve, flow switch, pressure gauge, thermometers, drain pipes complete all as per functional requirements and manufacturing design for the plant to be fully functional with and including the following :-

(a) Refrigerant piping, fittings, valves and accessories to interconnect indoor & outdoor unit and expansion valves. (b) Supply & charging of refrigerant gas to full capacity. (c) Microprocessor based control panel complete with all safety controls and LED display as per manufacturer's design. (d) Refrigerant line accessories comprising of safety valves, angle valve, liquid line indications. (e) Adequately designed PCC foundation/angle iron supports as per manufacturers recommendations for the AC plant components (e.g compressors, motors etc) of the package units as per site requirement including vibration, isolation pads for mounting all equipments on foundation. Notes :- (i) The cost of plain cement concrete foundation for installation of each package unit (2 working simultaneously & 1 stand by) as per OEM/manufacturer's recommentation shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

(ii) The Contractor will submit the OEM's heat load calculation sheet for summer, mansoon, winter alongwith duct layout showing various sections/damper alongwith SLD of air ciruit, condenser water circuit and power/ control circuit drawing for approval of Accepting officer. (iii) The contractor have to get the AC plant designed, supplied, installation, testing and commissioned by any one of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) namely Blue Star/Voltas/Carrier/Daikin with their own make or with their recommended makes for the components which are not manufactured by the OEM.Any other make whcih are other than OEM or other than OEM recommendation shall not be accepted. Contractor shall submit proper doucmentary evidence of all the components recommended by OEM before procurement action . (iv) The Approval of the Accepting Officer is to be obtained through proper Channel before engaging the OEM by entering into MOU with the OEM.

(d) Control and transmission wiring with PVC insulated round flexible copper conductor cable of size as per OEM specifications between indoor and outdoor laid through and including 20 mm dia non-metallic PVC rigid concealed conduit Note :- (i) Apart from the above items if any other item / materials and any civil / electrical work is required at the site for the smooth functioning of air conditioning system, the cost of the same shall be deemed to be including in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment will be made for the same.
