B & R WORKS Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as directed

M&L for Factory made Precast reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in manhole covers & set in CM 1:4 etc. all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing, cement concrete 1:3:6 Type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, string courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones,bed plates etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for old size brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius half brick thick wall built in CM (1: 4)complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for old size brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1: 6 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling brick tiles of any size laid bedded and pointed in any mortor complete all as directed..

Demolition of mud in roofs any thickness and in any position and leaping over roof terrace ,removing the demolished material to a distance exc 250 m & n exc 500 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above starting point, complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof padding, coping , kerb etc finishing the surface fair & even. complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting grooves in brick wall, 75 mm wide and 65 mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick in CM 1:3 rendering on fair faces of concrete surfaces /roof top mixed with liquid water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (type B0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in roof kerb,mixed with and including SBR polymer as manufacturer's instructions all around periphery of the wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of roof including cleaning the surfaces by using wire brush/ pressure hose and applying high performance polyurethene liquid membrane waterproofing coating in two coats @ 1.5 Kg/Sqm/ 2 coats spray/ brush applied, with an elongation of 300% to 700% and tensile strength of not less than 3 N/Sqmm as per ASTM D412 and ASTM D2370, crack bridging ability of 3.5mm as per ASTM C1305, shore a hardness of not less than 60 as per ASTM D2240. The item includes applying epoxy primer @ 0.15Kg/Sqm and a geotextile of 40 GSM to be applied over first coat while first coat is still wet, complete as per manufacturer's instrructions complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. The contractor shall submit a guarantee of 10 years from the date of completion of work for waterproofing treatment alongwith manufacturer's guarentee. The amount of Rs. 40 (Forty) per Sqm and min of Rs. 4000/- for waterproofing treatment shall be withheld from contractor's final bill till the expiry of gurantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fix deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE(East) Prayagraj against gurantee money. 2. The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of manufacturer. The name of applicator shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. 3.The contractor shall submit the documents ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract before commence of these works. 4. Materials shall be procured from manufacturer/authorised dealer only and purchase voucher for the full qty of material shall be produced by the contractor .

Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Coloured Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick, first or premium quality , area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15 mm thick screed bedding in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Coloured Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick, first or premium quality ,area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15 mm thick screed bedding in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for Kota stone slab 18- 20mm thick in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillar laid over and including 10mm thick plaster in cement mortar (1:3) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 20 mm thick Granite slab work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like in 20 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite. including rounded/half rounded edge and hole for gas pipe in pre-cast slab as well as stone slab in cooking platform complete all as specified and directed.

Rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations etc complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) incl chequered tiling and Paver blocks complete all as directed..

M&L for 1st quality non skid coloured ceramic Heavy duty tiles n exc 0.11 Sqm 10 mm thick,first or premium quality , set and jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed with coloured cement to match in floor over and including including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type-C-2, 1:3:6 using 40mm graded stone aggregate finished cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement in floor complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth including mastic joint filling without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or ceiling etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM in 1:4 finished even and fair and mixing with water proofing liquid as per manufacturer instruction (but excluding the cost of water proofing liquid ) external surface using proper scaffolding arrangements upto required heightcomplete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound of approved make.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:6)on faces of brick or concrete surfaces of walls & finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete surface in ceiling & finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping with machnical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7"/9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 2 mm over the New plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps:- Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2 :- Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface.

M&L for applying one coat of acrylic waterbased interior grade primer @ 0.8 ltr(undiluted)/10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI.Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new or old plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of Oil bound distemper paint using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed. Note : - Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700RPM, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.

M&L for applying One coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @0.9 ltr(undiluted)/10 Sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive & Color stay Technology ,Excellent Dirt Pick up resistance with low VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1.79 ltr (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI.Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint complete all as directed.

Note for Item No 34 to 39 here-in-before (a.) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed from authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials .i.e. Paint, Distemper, Cement base paint, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer. (b.) The contractor shall submit the documents ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract before commence of these works. (c) Proper scafolding arrangements upto required depth shall be arranged by the contractor and rates shall be incuded in quoted rate.

Taking down existing sunken portion treatment by dismantling of old concrete and carry out the sunken treatment as in following steps and procedure given below : (a) S&F of drainage spout GI pipe 40mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 450mm to 600mm long) (b) M&L for PCC 1:1.5:3 type A-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate), 50 mm thick laid in slope towards drainage out spout pipe mixed with waterproofing chemical as per manufacturer instructions of MAKE: FOSROC/SIKA/ Pidlite/STP. Khurra 150mmx150mm (min) at appropriate location for free flow (of leaked water if any) towards drainage spouts shall be provided integrally while laying PCC. Fixing of spout shall be done with same PCC as in this item. (c) M&L for 18mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 on vertical faces mixed with water proofing chemical of MAKE:301 Pidicrete URP of Dr. Fixit or other techno commercially Equivalent make of SIKA/ Pidlite/FOSROC/STP (d) Item no 86 (c) shall be executed while concrete is green as per item no 86(b) above and proper curing and ponding test shall be done before laying drainage/water supply pipes upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. (e) Applying two coats of SIKA TOP seal 107 of SIKA or other techno commercially Equivalent make of FOSROC/ Pidlite/Dr Fixit/STP on vertical as well as horizontal surface. (f) Drainage and water supply pipe if required & test for leakage/sanitary pipes and shall be laid to slope and a clear gap underneath the pipes shall be made available by suitable cement concrete blocks. g) M&L for PCC1:5:10 type E-2 using 10-40mm graded stone aggregate as reqd depth at site over and including 150mm thick 20mm single sized stone agg to provide a filter media. (h) M&L for PCC 25 mm thick 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm grade stone aggregate as level course. (j) M&L for 7 to 8 mm thick non skid ceramic coloured joint less tiles (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceeding 0.18sqm as in floors etc; laid jointing in neat cement slurry and pointed filled with epoxy chemical make: SIKA/FOSROC/Pidlite/ Dr Fixit/STP mixed with pigment with shade of tiles over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1.6) complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 86: (i) Waterproofing Treatment shall be undertaken along with laying of drainage pipes/sanitary pipes. Drainage spout etc (ii) The work and ponding test shall be carried out as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. (iii) The sunken treatment work shall only be carried out after written approval of Engineer in charge for leakages/ seepage of water/ sanitary pipes. (iv) Cost of drainage spout shall deemed to be included in the item however sanitary pipe, line if required shall be paid separately under respective item. (v) Laying of Chemical requried for various applications shall be as per manufacturer's instructions. (vi) Plan area shall only be measaured and paid. (vii) The contractor shall submit the documents ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract before commence of these works. Supply, laying and testing (in replacement) of cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25 sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr deep and getting out including filling bottom surface to required level or slope for laying of pipes/ cables complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with dry local sand for cable protecting under ground cable (8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable) in trenches including punning the sand upto 18 cm thick and consolidated complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned thickness 18 cm shall be measured only.

Supply and laying dry well burnt locally available brick sub class 'B' modular bricks laid flat with width equal to the length of whole bricks over cable as cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for bore hole for passing cable through / insertion of 80/50mm dia GI pipe under PCC road/ taxi track/ runway/ hard standing upto the depth 450mm to 1200 mm complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTES :- (i) Cost of equipments, tools & plants,material required for boring shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates above. (ii) GI pipe shall be measured and paid separetely.

S &F for 40 mm dia GI pipe 'light grade' ISI marked including fittings such as bends, tees, sockets etc fixed on wall/pole or laid in trenches under road crossing/hard standing including taking down old /unserveciable existing pipe complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Excavation and earth work shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armoured, Alumunium conductor cable of size 25 to 50 sqmm,Indoor/Outdoor type

Taking down LT Panel board, steel enclosure with MCCB/MCB of any capacity including steel board and making good disturbed surfaces of walls to match the existing complete all as specified and directed.
