Restoration work of collapsed 16 No. DC Tower of 220KV Orai-Parichha ckt III and 220 kV Orai Moth DC Line due to heavy storm under ETD-Orai

Attending breakdown and Restoration of 220kv Orai-Parichha ckt 3and 220kv Orai-Moth D/C line (Damage of 18 No tower by replacement of 220 KV DC Tower along with foundation work & including dismantling up damage towers,shifting of material from above site to substation store within 60 KM with de-stringing ,re-stringing of ACSR Zebra Conductor, Earthwire along with all associated works.

Immediate diversion/Mobilization of gang for dismantling of collapsed tower with re-storation of electric supply of effected Substation 220 kV S/S moth and Parichha TPS with all T & P and man power required for completion of the work in minimum period .

Round the clock watch & ward of the line/ Line materials during line restoration work to avoid theft of conductor, Earthwire, tower part, hardware fitting, conductor / Earthwire and other accessories etc. between section tower No. 239 to tower no. 243 and 256 to 275 .

Arrangement of anchoring/back stay of conductor at 5 different location No. for both Ckt where ever is required with the help of 18mm wire rope to avoid tower collapse/ x-arm damage of other towers.

De-stringing of Earthwire between tower no. between section from tower No. 239 to 243 and tower no. 256 to tower no.275 including hardware fitting.

De-stringing of 3 Phases ACSR Zebra conductors including insulators, hardware fitting and conductor accessories such as suspension clamp, vibration damper etc between tower No. 239 to 243 and 256 to 275 .

Removal of damaged tower members of Tower no by gas cutter/removing of nut bolts to clear the site and Dismantling of 18 no. super structure of 220 KV D/C tower by opening the Nut & bolts and proper stacking at site ( Approx 80 MT Steel).

Making arrangement for lighting at site of work by providing generator and consumable fuel, to enable the execution of works in night hours and to safe guard from theft of conductor, Earthwire, Tower parts hardware and fittings of conductor and Earthwire etc.

Survey work for new foundation including preparation of schedule of materials, marking of location, GPS survey with co-ordinates of tower with check survey, peg marking and Pit marking.

Excavation of foundation pits including all earth work, backfilling and leveling etc for black soil and black cotton soil by the help of excavator.
