Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt,sand, clay , gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated or weathered rock, fissured/shattered, decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convinient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditionsetc. including pumping or bailing out water/dewatering including setting out construction of, shoring and strutting and bracing,removal of stump and other deleterious matter,dressing of sides and bottom, providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding etc. backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposing of surplus excavated soil/rock at specified areas with all leads and lifts etc. as per specification and drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for (a) Foundation, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete.

Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site (portion in ground only to be measured) (a) Upto 2.50 metre long pile.

Providing and driving Nilgiri wood or equivalent piles of length upto 6.0metres as specified and 0.3 m mean diameter spacing at 0.50m c/c under water including cutting the driving edge to the required shape,existing in position,fastening driving with wooden mallet or steel hammer including strutting etc. as per specification with all leads etc. complete.

Providing and fixing bamboos of length 5.50m or as specified and 4cms mean diameter spacing at 0.20m c/c for groynes,cofferdam and closure of breaches including cutting into pieces,making into halves longitudinally holding in position,fastening with coir string,nailing as per specifications with all lead and as directed by engineer-in-charge etc. complete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1: 1.5: 3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand: 3 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in:All works upto plinth level

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: (a) All works upto plinth level.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Laterite boulder masonry in cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand: 6 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) in foundation.

Earthwork in Embankment with approved earth (Contractor earth)/moorum including spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 250mm. in depth, breaking clods, rolling each layer with half ton roller or wooden or steel hammer including filling up ground depression, dressing etc. complete with all lead and lift and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows trusses & other frames wrought framed and fixed in positon.d)Second class matti wood

Painting 2 coats with oil type wood preservative of approved brand & manufacture on new work.
