AUGMENTATION OF POWER TRANSFORMER BY INSTALLATION OF HIGHER CAPACITY TRANSFORMER IN REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING TRANSFORMER AT RTC (ER) KOLKATA PREMISES UNDER GE NORTH KOLKATA

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning outdoor type platform mounted step down transformer (EEL 3 Type) of capacity 400 KVA, 11 KV/415 Volts (at ON load), AC 3 Phase, 50 HZ, core type double copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled, oil natural-Air natural (ON/AN) with external cooling tubes, delta connection on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector group Dyn-11 with Neutral brought out on secondary side (LV side) and having tapings at (+/-) 2.5% and (+/-) 5%, (+/-) 7.5%, (+/-) 10% on HV side to be changed by means of hand operated OFF load tap changer gear and transformer should conforming to level-2 of IS-1180 : 2014. The maximum temperature rise should not exceed 45 degree Celsius in oil and 55 degree Celsius in HV/LV winding when measured by resistance method after continuous full load run on an ambient temperature of 40 degree Celsius. Note: All material and equipment required on testing by SEI will be provided by the contractor. Transformer shall comprise of the following:- (a) One cable box LT side (secondary side) consisting of four Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods complete with nut & washers with 01 No cable gland suitable for reception/ taking out of 240 Sqmm 3 1/2 core LT 1100 Volts grade XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed heavy duty aluminium conductor armoured cable including gland, joint & jointing material complete all as specified. (b) HT side (primary side) consisting of three Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods complete with nut and washers with cable gland HT bushing suitable for outdoor mounting transformer, 11000 Volts grade XLPE insulated heavy duty armoured aluminium conductor cables including gland joint and jointing material complete. (c) Oil conservator with filter type drain valve and oil level gauge complete. (d) De-hydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent (silica gel) complete. (e) One 100mm dia, dial type thermometer vapour pressure type having range 0-120 degree Celsius with metal guard having maximum perimeter temperature reading indicator with re-setting device. (f) Four earthing terminals on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32mm x 6mm galvanised iron earth strip for earthing of neutral & body. (g) Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (h) Extra bushing for neutral in the LT cable box for providing independent set of earthing for neutral. (j) First filling of new and unused transformer oil IS-335 marked filtered and tested upto 60 KV dielectric strength at 2.5mm air gap between testing electrodes.

S&F 11 KV out door type Air Break gang operated device of rating 200 Amps, triple pole, vertical type, mechanically operated, mounted on HT insulators and steel channel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level with GI tubing 25 mm dia medium grade with operating handle and locking arrangement including seven lever naval lock and providing ACSR conductor jumpers duly crimped with lugs, connecting to existing 11 KV supply and testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for steel tubular swaged type poles 11 metres long, pole weight approximately 227 Kg, pole should be in one piece only and smooth finishing, ISI marked complete with all accessories such as cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws, washers and drilling of holes for continuous GI earth wire as specified type 410 SP-55 and conforming to IS:2713-1980 including applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and embedded portion shall be painted with two coats of black paint after preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed make as approved. Note:-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated in structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending, fabrication, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat zink primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using (20 mm graded stone aggregate) for making good cutting portion coping of pole and filling of foundation etc including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Top surface of pole coping to be finished even and smooth and to be white washed three coats and the quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for the same.

Supply, laying connecting & testing cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, of size 3 core 185 sq. mm laid in trenches/through pipes/ducts/walls and including cable connections with necessary aluminium lugs duly crimped properly and stainless steel glands, nuts, bolts and washer complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (ii) Sand cushioning, precast cable cover, GI pipe, etc. shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L cable jointing kit for 11 KV for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 to 225 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cable jointing kit for 11 KV for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 to 225 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm dia galvanized iron tube, light grade, for cable protection, supporting to poles, plinth protections, road crossing, trenches, footpath etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrodes of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip of (32 x 6) mm earthing lead by means of nuts bolts check nuts GI washers earth wire protected by galvanized iron pipe 32 mm bore (light grade) including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, precast RCC cover slab of size (30x30x10)cm with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar funnel wire mesh 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI iron strip upto 7.5 mtr alongwith protection pipe included in the quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide, exc 1.50m depth and n exc 03 mtr in depth; for foundation etc. not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil etc complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm in soft/ loose soil etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) to a distance not exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Filling sand coarse dry as in cushioning of underground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable ) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness all complete as specified and as directed. (Note : Punned thickness will be measured for payment.)

Supply and laying pre-cast concrete cable covers, class HV type 1, flat and size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for protection of HT under ground cable complete all as directed.

Supply and fix lightening arrestor on-linear resistor type, Gapless metal oxide (ZnO) suitable for 3 wire 11KV overhead line with acted voltage of 9KV(rms), 5Ka discharge current with a station class with facility to record numbers of surge and complete with galvanised clamping arrangements clamps, bolts, nuts, washers etc. as required.

S&F Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, 25x20 cm size completed all as specified and directed.

M&L for anticlimbing device i.e. Cradles, hexagonal/rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
