Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg/sqm

Providing and laying Bitumen Penelration Macadam with hard stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified, with bitumen of suitable penetration grade, including required key aggregate as specified, spreading coarse aggregate with the help of self propelled/ tipper tail mounted aggregate spreader and applying bitumen by a pressure distributor and then spreading key aggregate with the help of aggregate spreader complete, including consolidation with road roller of minimum 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve specified values of compaction and surface accuracy including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) For 50mm (fifty milimetre) compacted thickness using coarse aggregate of size 50-20mm (fifty-twenty milimetre) graded @ 0.60 (zero point six zero) cum per sqm key aggregate of size 12.5mm (twelve point five milimetre) graded @ 0.15 (zero point one five) cum per 10 (ten) sqm. With paving asphalt grade VG-10(Ten)@ 50 kg./10 Sqm.

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment amd rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achive the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.(a) 30mm (thirty milimetre) thick compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10(ten) @ 5.5% (five point five percent) (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3%(three percent) (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.
