Removal of old chocked filter media (sand) along with removal of mudballs manually by scapping and removing layer wise with the help of rope and buckets carefully to ensure separation of the different grades/gauges and stackin/dumping within an average lead of 200mtrs. the job includes cleaning/rubbing the surface of filter beds after removal of filter media etc. as directed by Engineer incharge complete job.
Supply/laying and shrouding of filter media (Sand) from approved source at Ganderbal in filter beds in layers as per approved design and specifications complete and confirming to all slecifications as per CPHEEO manual to ensure ewual distribution of sand to prevent entering the sand into the under drains and to ensure uniform distribution of wash water. The sand should bee free from all dirt and dust including all leads and lifts and carriages complete. The job is to be carried and the supervision of Engineer incharge.
