M&L for repairs to pot holes depth not exc 30mm deep and area not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal (including supply of road metal) rolling and well ramming surface of road complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled exc 50mm deep but n exc 100 mm depth in macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n exc 400 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include for removal of rubble/debris outsid MoD land.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air/ gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc including draining off water if any from pot holes and applying evenly priming tack coat with Bitumen Primer using paving bitumen of VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Premixed Bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration and using 12 to 25 mm graded crushed preheated stone aggregate, laid rolled and compacted with 8-10 tonnepower roller and rolled compacted to required gradient and camber, 4% binders by weight to mix to make good depression/ pot holes complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The job design formula shall be got down from The mix design tests shall be carried out only in SEMT wing/Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (b) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 4% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 4% than minimum binder content of 4% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The Job design shall be got down from approved lab and shall be approved by GE before commencement of work.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor/ gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, including draning off water if any from pot holes and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer (using paving bitumen) of grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 Sqm over surface complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L 30 mm thick consolidated thickness Bituminous Premixed semi dense ashphaltic concrete using combined graded aggregate ie crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) and fille (inherent filer/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified and as per table given (refer SSR Part-I 2009), preheated mixed with 5.0% binder (VG-30) content by weight of total mix, laid and spread means of self propelling mechanical spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR 8-10 tonne power complete all as specified and as directed. Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled paver machine. The vintage of sensor paver shall not be more than 05 years. (e) Thickness of Semi dense Asphaltic concrete and quantities of materials as mentioned in Particular specicifications/SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be ddemed to include for provision of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/specified i the item, if required to acheive the required level, gradient, camber and shape all as directed by the GE.

M&L for applying 2 mm thick road marking paint with thermoplastic fluorescent white or golden yellow or any other shade conforming to BS-3262(1986) with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machne drive in strips after preparation of surfaces as per manufactures instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST ( Ministry Of Surface Transport) Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc on roads and othe like surfaces exc 10cm but n exc 30cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with battery (1.2V 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair road safety convex mirror made up of Polycarbonate reflective with hood for road turning, intersection, curve, T junction etc, unbreakable and strong, mounted on and body made of ABS /Fibre/Plastic of size 75-90 cm dia fixed over and inclduing 40mm bore MS pipe of 2.40 meter length duly powder coated, fixed with adjustable clamp, pole fixed with plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm grade crushed stone agrregate) block of size 450x450x450 mm deep including necessary excavation & earthwork etc complete all as specified and directed. Make : Road star Cat part No RSCM-100 or equivalent to Tata/3M/Dark Eye and approved makes mentioned in Tender Documents. Note : (a) A mild steel base plate of size 250mmx250mmx3mm shall be welded at bottom of pole. (ii) All sheet & iron surface other han powder coated shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer.
