CARRYING OUT MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL WORKS INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CANE MARSHALLING YARD AT HBL INTEGRATED SUGAR PLANT, SUGAULI AND LAURIYA

PART - A: Carrying Out Miscellaneous Civil Works of Cane Marshalling Yard at HBL Integrated Sugar Plant, Sugauli

Clearing and cleaning the existing yard surface: Removing vegetation, debris, rubbish, and loose soil to a depth of 150mm. Stacking useful materials and disposing of waste up to 150m away.

Earthwork & Preparation: Earthwork in excavation/Filling/dressing/dismantling damaged brick soling of the yard area to required levels, including removing top soil, grass, stacking of reusable bricks and compaction to 95% Modified Proctor Density (MPD).

New Brick Soling: Providing and laying 75mm wide brick-on-edge edging in 1st class (105 kg/cm2) or picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level, including cutting necessary trenches in soil, laying the bricks, and repacking the trench on both sides of the edging with soil, ramming the same thoroughly, finishing the top, and curing, all complete. Providing brick-on-edge (edging) with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) at the perimeter to protect the edge of the soling. Filling interstices (joints) with mortar (1:6) or Brick dust(rubbish) after laying bricks to provide stability.

Regrouting/Refixing of Pillar: Dismantling of uprooted RCC/MS pillars from the trolley (trauli) lane, including careful handling, loading, unloading, and transportation to a lead of up to 100 m within the plant premises. The work includes excavation for foundations up to 0.75 m depth, providing a 300 mm diameter concrete foundation, dressing and preparation of the foundation bed, and providing a plaster leveling course wherever required. The dismantled pillars shall be re-erected in the correct alignment, line, and level, with proper anchoring arrangements. Grouting shall be carried out using approved non-shrink cementitious grout or M20 grade concrete, including all necessary reinforcement, curing, and finishing. The scope further includes surface preparation and application of one coat of approved primer followed by two coats of paint to the re-erected MS portions. The job shall also include cutting, handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of scrap MS channels, pipes, and other steel materials provided by HBL to the designated location within the plant premises. The work shall be executed complete in all respects, including supply of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, consumables, transportation, scaffolding (if required), and all incidental works, strictly in accordance with the specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

DRAIN: Construction of open brick masonry drain of 300 mm internal width with 230 mm thick brick masonry walls in CM 1:6, 100 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) bed, including excavation, backfilling, curing, disposal of surplus earth, and all labour, materials, tools and incidental charges complete as per approved drawings and specifications.
