COMPREHENSIVE B/R REPAIR WITH WATER PROOFING TREATMENT TO TOILET, REPAIRS TO ROOF, CEILING, DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS SITE A1 OF NAVAL BASE AREA KARWAR

M&L for attending to petty repair job to plumbing internal water supply, such as repair to leaking bib tap, pillar tap, mixer, stop cock, angle valves, float valves, concealed stop cock, etc., by tightening and providing washer, disc, spindle, or any other minor accessories; repair to float valve; flushing cistern by minor adjustment; leaking water supply lines by tightening the GI fittings/PVC fittings; or refixing water supply or sanitary fixtures using thread/Teflon tapes, with and including small GI fittings such as GI/PVC elbow, socket, union, as required at site to make the system functional, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in sunken floor or in any position complete all as specified and directed. .

Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises of the following specifications and all as specified :-

M&L for applying two coats of polymer-modified cementitious waterproof coating, as per the manufacturer's instructions, to the bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of the two layers shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried out for the vertical and bottom surfaces of the sunken portion, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC in 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in sunken floor of toilet complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/taking out existing hessian base felt or any other existing water proofing treatment from roof including cement plaster and exposing the top surface of RCC slab including removing the dismantled debris to a distance exc 200m & n.exc 250m all as specified and directed

Surface Preparation: Preparing the concrete surface to remove dust, dirt, laitance's etc using mechanical means and treating minor defects in concrete with polymer modified mortar using - SmartCare repair polymer (SBR)

Providing and installing SmartCare TPO reinforced membrane, a high-performance, heat-weldable, scrim-reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) sheet, manufactured and supplied in a thickness of 1.5 mm as per UNI EN 1849-2, designed for waterproofing and heat-shielding roofs of new and existing buildings. The membrane shall have elongation at break >15% as per UNI EN 12311-2; hydrostatic pressure resistance (6 hours @ 5 bar) as per UNI EN 1928, Method B; tearing strength (N) >300 as per UNI EN 12310-2; puncture resistance (mm) >700 as per DIN 16726-5.12; and tensile strength (N/5 cm) >1100 as per UNI EN 12311-2. The joints of the membrane shall be welded using a double-seam welding machine, and detailing of the membrane shall be carried out using hand-applied welding tools. The membrane shall be terminated at a minimum height of 300 mm above FFL in vertical areas, using a termination bar, mechanical fasteners, and PU sealant, complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and product data sheets.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation), or insulation boards/ slabs/ blankets of any description and thickness, including frame/ grid of any description, complete all as specified and directed.
