Jungle clearance including weeding out shrubs small trees upto 150mm dia (Girth) and their removal as per specification and direction of E/I. (6.1.3.2)

Preparation of seat of embankment or canals by 75mm ploughing and removing the grass roots etc as per specification and direction of E/I. (7.1.1)

Earth work in excavation of canals having discharge between 8.50cumecs (300 cusecs) and 0.5 cumecs (50 cusecs) in ordinary soil (Vide classification of soil item-A) including clod breaking, having earth in 225mm layer and rough dressing of soil with initial lead of 10M and lift of 1.5M all complete as per specification and direction of E/I. Extra for earth work in hard soil (Vide classification of soil item-B) all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.1.10]

Earth work in excavation in ordinary or soft rock (where blasting is not needed) (Vide classification of soil item-C) with initial lead of 30M and lift of 1.5M including dressing making the sides in proper profile and dressing the bed in proper grade etc. all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.1.13.2]

E/W in filling in canal banks ( canal discharge above 28 cumecs ) as wellas special repair of canal banks in ordinary soil in proper profile ( vide classificationof soil item - A ) obtained from borrow area or any other sources free from logs,roots, or any other ingredients etc. with initial lead of 15M and initial lift of 1.5M including breaking clods to maximum 50 mm cube placing the earth in layers not exceeding 225mm thick complete as per specification and direction of E/I. (Mode ofmeasurement sectional measurement shall be of compacted earth).[WRD SOR 7.1.25 Corr. P-36]

Extra for earth work in each additional lead of 25M beyond the initial as per specification and direction of E/I. (i) One extra lead (7.1.33.1)

Watering and consolidation of earth laid in 150mm to 225mm layers bymanual labour with C.I.hammer to achieve minimum 85% of maximum dry density including supply of water and necessary tools and plants with all leads and lifts all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.1.38]

Earthwork in lip cutting in side slopes and bed of canal in ordinary soil with initial lead of 30 M and lift of 1.5M. including the cost of formation of sub gradeof canal lining, profiling, levelling controlling of slopes and fine dressing withdisposal of excavated earth and nominal dewatering if any all complete as per approved design, specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.1.21]

Providing supplying and laying of laminated bituminous Hessian Cloth (contains 7 to 8 number of grid /cm2 bituminised with 25 micron LDPE film) finishedwith 0.3 Kg/m2 density of Hessian cloth all complete job as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR P 51,M-268]

Supplying laying and fixing of 100 micron L.D.P.E. film (as per IS-2508/84) below canal bed upto corvature portion of the slope lining including cost ofcarriage and all taxes applicable all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.[RATE APPROVED BY CE CHANDIL COMPLEX VIDE LT NO 1353 DT 11.7.2005]

Providing compacted 75mm thick sand filter of required F.M. (2.5 to3.0) as per design on side slopes and in bed of the canal with local sand including cost of watering, ramming, levelling and dressing etc. all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.2.1A]

Providing P.C.C. M- 150 with nominal mix of (1:2:4) with approved quality of graded stone chips (20mm and down) and coarse granular sand ofrequisite F.M. (2.5 to 3.0) in lug slab cross and longitudinal sleepers for lining of canals including cost of form work and its removal, curing, royalty and all othertaxes, complete job as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.2.19.1] Common 7.3A

Providing 100mm thick P.C.C. lining in M- 150 with nominal mix of(1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20mm and down) and coarse sand of approved quality of required F.M. (2.5 to 3.0) in side and bottom curved portion of the canal in panel with construction joined including cost of form work and its removal, curing,royalty and all other taxes, complete job as per specification and direction of E/I.[WRD SOR 7.2.19.1]

Providing 10mm thick vertical joints at suitable interval, joints filled with bituminous materials of approved quality including royalty all taxes etc. all completeas per specification and direction of E/I. (i) For canal side slope (7.2.10.1)
