RESURFACING/ REPAIRS TO ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT INS HAMLA UNDER CWE (SUBS) MUMBAI

M & L for repairs to potholes any depth, not exc 1sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. then laying of patchmate material into the pothole and then compacting the layer using the Hammer/Rolling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying and picking gravelled macadam or biltuminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm, exc 50 mm deep and not exc100mm deep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-30 grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with pressure sprayer over existing black top surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (BM) (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled mechanical paver, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes: The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing BM. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.32 per Kg

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-30 grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm with pressure sprayer over unsurfaced WBM etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and tandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes: The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.32 per Kg .

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed., complete all as specified & directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required Including demolition of kerb stone complete.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of new concrete surfaces, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel pain over one coat of primer etc , complete all as specified and directed.
