GE/CHM-89/2025-2026 SPECIAL REPAIR AND RENOVATION OF FLOOR OF ALL THE CLASSROOM AND LABS WITH KOTA STONE AT KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO 2

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor / 1st floor and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above GL) as in plinth protection/ path/ Hard standing/ floor etc. etc complete removal of debris outside MD land.

Kota Stone Slab flooring, 18 to 22mm thick (one piece), best quality over and including cement screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6, laid and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with grey cement mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including cutting, rubbing, grinding and polishing (Mirror finish) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No 02 hereinbefore but on skirting / vertical surfaces laid over and including 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 , cutting, rubbing, grinding and polishing complete, all as specified.

25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in floor even and rough to receive the top finishes like Kota stone/floor tiling complete all as specified and directed.

Providing cement concrete type D1, 1:4:8 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, as in sub base etc., complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviveable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed

Preparation of old surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper, including complete removal of existing treatment, removing nails making good holes & necessary scafolding and safety arrangements, complete all as specified and directed

Applying Wall care putty (average thickness 1-2mm as required for desired smoothness and leveling of surfaces in two or more layers) and sand papering for making the surfaces even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and re-fixing of shutters of any description exc 1 sqm but not exc 2 sqm each in same opening after securing or easing & adjusting complete all as specified & directed.
