Taking down old u/s earthing pit of any type including all accesories.

Material and labour for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to 25 mm x 4 mm thick GI strip protected by 50 mm bore light grade galvanised iron pipe and other end connected to test point as directed including funnel with wire mesh and watering pipe 20 mm bore medium grade galvanised iron pipe with charcoal and common salt in alternaterlayers of 15 cm thickness all around the GI plate electrode with concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with cast iron frame including cast iron cover10mm thick hinged to CI frame and 8mm MS rod for handle including painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and put number marked with GI plate above 45 cm from ground level as per colour code in AF station, necessary excavation and earth wok in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I all as specified.

Material and labour for chemical earthing with copper earth plate electrode 90 cm X 60 cm X 5 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to 32 mm x 6 mm thick copper earth strip protected by 63 mm bore light grade galvanised iron pipe and other end connected to test point as directed including funnel with wire mesh and watering pipe 25 mm bore medium grade galvanised iron pipe with five alternative layers of charcoal and common salt in layers of 15 cm thickness and final layer of 5 cm thick magnesium sulphate all around the copper plate electrode with concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with cast iron frame including cast iron cover10mm thick hinged to CI frame and 8mm MS rod for handle including painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and put number marked with GI plate above 45 cm from ground level as per colour code in AF station, necessary excavation and earth wok in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I all as specified.

Taking down old u/s copper/GI/aluminium strip of any size.

Material and labour fopr Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 mm x 3 mm copper strip using porcelain clit/post insulator including brazing if required complete all as specified.

All as per Item No 07 but strip size 32 mm x 6 mm.

All as per Item No 07 but aluminium strip size 25 mm x 3 mm.

All as per Item No 07 but galvanized strip size 32 mm x 6 mm.

Taking up or down GI tubing of any grade or any size from trenches/wall, ceiling or floors including all fittings, segregated and stacking the pipe as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply, lay and fix 32 mm bore galvanized iron water tubing light grade including all fittings laid in trenches or fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors all as specified. Make:- Jindal/ TATA/ Prakash

Taking out old u/s test point terminal box of any type and any size as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fix test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 mm x75 mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw including 2 mm thick MS box of suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for cutting existing steel tubing of 50 mm dia for alterations or additions (Each cut measured) as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for screwing existing steel tubing of 50 mm dia for alterations or additions (or engthening screw on pipe to form connector) as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply, lay and fix 20 mm bore galvanized iron water tubing (as protection pipe) medium grade including all fittings and laid in trenches all as specified. Make:- Jindal/ TATA/ Prakash

Supply and fix 15 mm bore Bib taps, chromium plated, cast copper alloy with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed to extension nipple of size 15mm to 20 mm complete all as specified. Make Parryware Cat No G0304A1/ Jaquar Cat No FUS-29037/ Marc Cat No MCT-1030

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, trenches including Spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point all as specified.

Checking of old existing earthing pit and lightening conductors and repair/replacement of GI/aluminium strip where found corroded and repairs to pits and testing of earth resistance value and pouring salt/ charcol/ magnesium sulphate for obtaining earth value below 5 ohms as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Supply for salt/ charcol/ magnesium sulphate shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking out old u/s air terminator rod of any type and any size as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and fixed the location as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply only Charcol for earthing against Item No 22

Supply only Magnesium sulphate for earthing against Item No 22

Routine monthly check up of all earthing at AF Panagarh (approx 400) including technical area and maintaining monthly record and submitting the same before forthnight of each month duly signed by user,Engineer-In-Charge, JE and Contractor as per 'Appx A' named Earth Pit Resistance Testing Record Sheet as mentioned in Particular Specification Page No 83.
