STEEL FURNITURE PART-I (Srl Item No 1.00 to 86.00) Note:- Removal of following existing unserviceable steel/wooden components of various MES furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing nailing,welding, glueing, providing hinges,applying putty to level the surface, placing every part in-tact and painting the disturbed portion & painting steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing shade with spray gun & apply red oxide primer where ever required after properly smoothening the surface with sand paper. All kind of work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Satwari including BSO's Furniture Yard, and office hours only as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Almirah small steel:-FD-67(M)/243/350 /1032:- (a) 3-Way locking system as per drg.

(b) Brass lock as per existing pattern and shape. Make-Harrison/Link

(c) Decorative SS Handle as approved by GE irrespective of what is shown on drg.

(d) Leg as per drg.

(e) Repairs to dented door by removing the door from hinges, making smooth and straight by denting applying putty and refixing by replacing unserviceable hinges.

(f) Repairs to existing shelf by opening the clips/rivets of shelf, making smooth and straight by denting applying putty and refixing by replacing unserviceable clips/rivets.

(g) S&F new shelf by opening the clips/rivets and refixing by replacing unserviceable clips/rivets.

(h) S&F new door by removing the door from hinges, and refixing by replacing unserviceable hinges.

(i) Spray painting all steel surface with existing shade & colour or as approved by GE after application of sand paper & grinder to make the surface smooth & even and applicationof red-oxide primer.

Bed hard : FD/E6/MAP/08(R):- (a) Taking out existing broken plywood from the bed hard by loosening the nut bolts with washers. S&F new12 mm thick BWR grade plywood fixed to bed hard frame with new GI Nut, bolts. Make of plywood - Greenply/Century Ply/Archidply.

(b) Taking out existing broken head board form bed hard and fixing new head board with 18 mm thick exterior grade pre laminated particle board both side laminated in light walnut shade or shade as approved by GE with 4mm thick teak wood beading in matching shade with new screws.

(c) Taking out existing broken foot board form bed hard and fixing new foot board with 18 mm thick exterior grade pre laminated particle board both side laminated in light walnut shade or shade as approved by GE with 4mm thick teak wood beading in matching shade with new screws.

(d) Spray painting all steel surface with existing shade & colour or as approved by GE after application of sand paper & grinder to make the surface smooth & even and applicationof red-oxide primer.

(e) Hard rubber shoes as per drg.

Chair writing officer's : FD/E6/MAP/12:- (a) S&F new seat made of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood over which 50 mm thick 50-55 kg/wum density foam cushion shall be fixed with pvc lipping all round.The foam and plywood shall also be covered with best qualityfabric as approved by BSO and GE irrespective of what is shown on drg.

(b) S&F new back made of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood over which 50 mm thick 50-55 kg/wumdensity foam cushion shall be fixed with pvc lipping all round.The foam and plywood shall also be covered with best qualityfabric as approved by GE irrespective of what is shown on drg.

(c) Replacement of new arms with polyurethane reinforced with MS insert arms as shown on drgs /existing in chair.

Charpoy GI Pipe FD-220 :- Removing of nylon niwar and reweaving of charpoy GI pipe after tightening of frame,with new nylon niwar of 50/55 mm wide of 1st quality white colour, weight of niwar shall not be less than 1.50 kgs per charpoy, closely woven having minium 34 bands on long rails and 14 bands on short rails,the ends of nylon niwar shall be stitched with nylon niwar by giving one fold with pipes. Make-Usha/Vijay or equivalent as approved by Eng-in-Charge.

Table bed side steel : FD-157, FD/E6/MAP/15( R):- (a) Supply & fixing of new top of 18 mm thick exterior grade prelaminated perticle board of existing shade/both side laminated with light Wallnut shade or as approved by GE covered with 4 mm teak wood beading in matching shade, Supply & fixing new handle for cupboard. All steel surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing shade after preparition of surface.

(b) Replace old UNSV/rusted telescopic channel for smooth functioning.

Teapoy Varandah : FD/E6/MAP/17:- (a) Top shall be 18 mm thick exterior grade pre-laminated perticle board one side laminated in light Wallnut shade or as approved by GE, duly covered with 4 mm thick teak wood beading in matching shade with synthetic adhesive(Fevicol SH). Make of perticle board : Century/Archid /Green/Actiontesa.

Chair verandah:- FD-19M,333,256: (a) Spot arc welding to broken parts/joints of chairs.

(b) Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and Recanning the chair with plastic cane 4mm wide, white colour, as per drg, quality as approved by GE/Engr-in-Charge.

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair. S&F PVC seat and back 4mm thick to the chair after providing one extra support in between seat and back of chair.The support shall be of 19mm dia MS tube duly welded horizontally seat and back as directed by BSO. The PVC seat shall be got approved from BSO/GE before supply.

(d) S&F best quality new PVC shoes to the legs of chair.

(e) Spray painting all steel surface with existing shade & colour or as approved by GE after application of sand paper & grinder to make the surface smooth & even and application of red-oxide primer.

Chair revolving cushioned with arm all type:- (a) Replacement of pedestal assembly of chairs revolving same as shown on drgs /existing in chair.

(b) Replacement of hydroulic hight adjustment base assembly of chairs revolving same as shown on drgs /existing in chair.

(c) Replacement of new arms with polyurethane reinforced with MS insert arms as shown on drgs /existing in chair.

(d) Removing the old torn/damaged tapestry cloth/rexine from the seat of the chair and providing the same with tapestry/rexine over a layer of foam (75mm thick, 40 density) as shown on drgs /existing in chair. Colour 7 shade of cloth/Rexine as approved by GE.

(e) Removing the old torn/damaged tapestry cloth/rexine from the back of the chair and providing the same with tapestry/rexine over a layer of foam (75mm thick, 40 density) as shown on drgs /existing in chair. Colour & shade of cloth/Rexine as approved by GE.

Stool steel with back rest type-II HFD-2007 : (a) Seat made of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood over which 50 mm thick 32 density foam cushion shall be fixed .The foam and plywood shall also be covered with best quality fabric/rexine as approved by GE irrespective of what is shown on drg.

(b) Back rest made of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood over which 50 mm thick 32 density foam cushion shall be fixed .The foam and plywood shall also be covered with best quality fabric/rexine as approved by GE irrespective of what is shown on drg.

(c) Spray painting all steel surface with existing shade & colour or as approved by GE after application of sand paper & grinder to make the surface smooth & even and application of red-oxide primer.

Charpoy GI Pipe FD-220 (a) Taking out existing broken plywood from the charpoy GI pipe by loosening the nut bolts, tighten the each part of charpoy. Supply and fixing 12mm thick BWR grade plywood of appropriate size (As per Drg) to GI pipe frame with new GI Nut, bolts 6mm dia 62 to 65mm long. Make of plywood- Archid/Century/Greenply.

(b) Removing old unserviceable three-way elbow from the GI pipe and S&F new three-way elbow 32 mm dia ISI marked, complete all as specified/shown on drg and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(c) Removing old unserviceable GI check nuts from the GI charpoy frame & S&F new GI check nuts 32mm bore/dia & 10 mm wide as specified/shown on drawing and as directed.

(d) Removing old broken and long rail from charpoy and S&F new long rails of GI pipe ISI marked, 32mm dia medium grade duly treaded up to 22 mm on both ends to be fitted to the frame complete all as specified & shown on drg or as directed by Engr-in-charge.

(e) Removing old broken ends short rails from charpoy and replacing with new short rails of GI pipe made out of long rails retrived vide serila items 79.00 here-in-before duly threaded at both ends up to 22 mm long at both ends to be fitted to the frame completet all as shown on drg or as ditected by Engr-in-charge.

(f) Removing old broken ends and legs from charpoy GI and replacing with new legs of GI pipe made out of short rails retrived vide serial item 80.00 here-in-before, duly threaded at one end to be fitted to the frame. The lower ends of the leg shall be provided 3mm thick MS plate of 40mm dia shall be provided duly continous welding with and including provision of FMN set as directed by Engineer-in-charge irrespective of what is shown on drg. Rest all as shown on drg and as directed.

Table Steel 900x900x760 mm FD 1009 :-(a) Top shall be 18mm thick exterior grade pre-laminated particle board one side laminated in light wallnut shade or as approved by GE, duly covered with 4mm thick teakwood beading in matching shade with synthetic adhesive(Fevicol SH) Make of particle board : Century /Archid/Green/Actiontesa.

WOODEN FURNITURE PART-II (Srl Item No 87.00 to 205.00) Note:- Removal of following existing unserviceable wooden components of various MES furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing nailing,wedging, glueing, providing hinges,applying putty to level the surface, placing every part in-tact and painting the disturbed portion & Scratching the entire wooden pallets ,filling putty to the bore holes making surface smooth by scratching it with sand emery paper, the Wooden furniture shall be French polished with high gloss finish in light Walnut shade ,after properly cleaned and smoothened the surface. All kind of work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Satwari including BSO's Furniture Yard, and office hours only as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Timber shall be of First class deodar wood for items.Sizes of S&F componen ts will be as per drawing mentioned

(h) Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and S&F PVC seat 4mm thick in lieu of cane after providing corner & centre support if necessary.The PVC seat shall be fixed with proper size screws and good workmanship .Due care shall be taken while fixing the PVC seat, the gaps if appears be filed with putty mixed with adhesive so as to make surface smooth and tidy. The PVC seat shall got approved from GE before supply. Make - Amko or equivalent as approved by Engr-in-charge.

Fabric for cover should be of minimum Rs 500/- per meter all as approved by GE

Taking out old torn faded cushion cover from old cushions and S&F new cushion cover to the existing cushion.
