Repair to road, paths, road furniture and painting works at Air Force station Highground, Mullanpur and Barwala under AGE(I) AF Stn Highground

M&L for repair to pot holes, depth not exceeding 30mm and area not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of road, cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by applying paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5kg per ten sqm, putting in premixed as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2cm thick) well rammed and sealed withpremix sand seal coat ( 6.8Kg/10 Sqm blinded with 0.06 Cum of sand) and again well rammed/ rolled to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix, laid, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 ton power roller to required gradient & camber, consolidated thickness 75mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dust & dirt etc. including draining off water if any from pot holes and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) @5Kg/10Sqm with mechanical sprayer on black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness, using combined graded aggregate i.e. crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) & filler (inherent filler/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified (refer SSR Part-I of 2009), pre-heated, mixed with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, laid with mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to a uniform smooth surface with tandum vibratory road roller, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete and quantities of materials as mentioned in particular specification/SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be deemed to include for provision of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/specified in the item, if required, to achieve the required level, gradient, camber and shape all as directed by the GE. (ii) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and binder (bitumen). Semi dense asphaltic cooncrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical paver ccomplete all as directed by the GE. (iii) Contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include all these aspects.

Material and labour for painting 2.5 mm thick thermoplast fluorescent paint of colour white or golden yellow or any other shade as approved by GE conforming to BI standards 3262 with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machine driven in stripes after preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer's instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST (Ministry Of Surface Transport) Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc. on roads and other like surfaces not exceeding 15 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminum alloy shell (100% water proof design) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd fixed in repair complete all as specified and directed. Make-Dark Eye Model Kohinoor or equivalent model of makes as specified.

S&F cat eye Solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100x100x20mm, with PAMA strip lens reflector, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instruction fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Ashlar facing, dressed stonework, precast concrete articles and precast concrete block as in Kerb stone built in cement mortar incl all quions, arches, pillars, etc and removal of debris outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for providing factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve not to exceed 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description of item no. 9 here in before but using old kerb stone obtained from item no. 8 here in before and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub floor, sub base, floor and pavings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Convex Mirror 800 mm dia, polycarbonate reflected, outdoor type with hood ABS body including stand (MS pipe 60mm dia of height 1.5 m duly painted for fixing mirror and fixed in position in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (block size 450x450x600mm) to bear self load and wind pressure with necessary fixing arrangements as per manufacturer’s instructions with & including excavation, earth work and removal of soil to a distance n.exc 50m fixed i9n repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on new concrete surfaces over 10cm girth or width in two colour pattern incl preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint on old concrete/decorated surfaces over 10cm girth or width in two colour pattern incl preparation of old surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismatling of stone slab and tiles laid dry or otherwise and pointed in any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L forproviding 60 mm thick Factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould of approved colour, design & pattern laid in hardstandings, drive ways or Light traffic parking etc., in directed pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted layer of fine sand, proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks over the sand bedding layer using plate vibrator, filing the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: The Total amount of contract will be subject to deduction of credit of Rs. 7930.00.00 for old Materials becoming contractor's property as per Schedule of Credit here in after.
