The membrane shall be tucked into groove on vertical plane and groove sealed with cement mortar. The treatment shall be provided upto 200 mm height above finished floor. The membrane shall have tensile strength of 700 N/5cm in longitudinal direction and 450N/5cm in transerverse direction at 23 C, flow resistance > 120 C dimensional stability < 0.5% when tesed as per ASTM D 5147. The laying of the membrane shall be done through authorized applicator of the manufactures.
