REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT OF CERTAIN BUILDINGS AT TECHNICAL AREA ZONE I AND II UNDER GE I RND RCI HYDERABAD

Taking down existing roof treatment of any description including cement plaster/padding concrete on concrete surface of roof slab upto original roof level including cleaning and disposal of debris off the premises complete all as directed.

M&L, PCC 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in padding concrete/levelling course, to maintain slopes on roof and finishing the surfaces fair and even including necessary formwork and other similar works complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, APP based polymeric membrane weighing minimum 3.5Kg/Sqm and minimum 3mm thick, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weight not less than 160 grams/sqm) laid over primed surface including bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 applied at a rate of 0.3litre/Sqm by forced application, complete all as specified and directed. Roof treatment for Inaccessible roof shall consist of:- Note: The treatment shall be got executed through approved specialist agency or under their supervision and guidance.

10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with liquid water proofing compound (to be measured and paid separately) as per manufacturer's instructions after applying cement slurry @ 1.2Kg/Sqm on prepared roof surface.

Applying one coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS- 3384 @ 0.3litre/Sqm.

Laying of APP based membrane of specified thickness and weight.

Applying one coat bitumen grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm.

Applying two coats of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100ml/Sqm.

M&L, Cutting grooves in brick wall, 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal faces of grooves with cement mortar 1:3 after inserting membrane into the groove complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or covings, rounded or chamfered on edges, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, preparation of old concrete surfaces by brushing, cleaning and washing all the undulations, cracks, cleaning all pores and sealed with PU sealant or crack seal properly and applying first coat of PU Magnum @ 750gram/sqm over a coat of epoxy primer @ 200ml/sqm, laying 30-40 GSM Geotextile with 50mm side and end overlaps on the layers, applying second coat of PU Magnum over geotextile @ 750grams/Sqm complete all per manufacturers instructions and as directed.

M&L, preparation of old plastered external wall surfaces, removing all contaminations, fungus and other micro organism growth by any mechanical means and applying a coat of Smartcare Damp proof @ 0.45litre/sqm over a coat of Damp proof primer diluted with 33% by water and allow the coatings to be cured completely all as per manufacturer instructions and as directed.

M&L, preparation of old plastered internal wall surfaces, removing all contaminations, fungus and other micro organism growth by any mechanical means and applying two coats of Damp block-2K @ 1.50Kg/sqm and finishing with a coat of epoxy triblock @ 1Kg/2Sqm and allow the coatings to be cured completely as per manufacturer instructions and as directed.

M&L, cutting open to 'V' grove with the help of machine on all visible cracks of external wall over 0.5mm size, cleaning thoroughly and filling with smartcare Hybrid PU sealant complete as per manufacturer instructions and as directed. Make for item No 6 to 9: Asian Paints/FOSROC/Pidilite Note for item No 6 to 9: The work shall be got executed directly by manufacturer or their authorized applicator after obtaining prior approval.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls/concrete surfaces from any height including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., including disposing rubbish materials off the premises complete all as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone masonry including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., built in cement mortar complete all as directed.

M&L, brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces, in any height, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and ceilings applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted over coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L, preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of weather proof anti algal exterior acrylic emulsion paint (100% acrylic), premium quality, over a coat of primer all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated, etc.,) sheets in roof coverings along with ridges complete all as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as directed.

S&F, Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc., conforming to Fe 410W (Grade E-250) quality 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet / trapezoidal steel sheet 0.50mm base metal thickness of any colour having tensile strength of 550MPa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws and EPDM washers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550MPa as in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings, fixed with self tapping screws and EPDM washers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, 2mm thick Fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with two corrugations side lap fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts in roof, wall etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity exceeding 500 litres and not exceeding 1000 litres setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc., from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes and hoisting as required, reconnecting and refixing in position complete all as directed.
