Note for item No 1 to 4 :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire AFTC, 2DC Area & AFS Jalahalli

(b) Requirement for repair of gland packing shall be intimated through Telephone/SMS as and when required by the JE/Engineer-in-Charge.

(c) Due to pumping of water in the station based on BWSSB , the repair work shall be carried out after water supply distribution hours and testing work shall be carried out with in water supply distribution hours in the prasence of plumber and nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(d) In case of any delay in attending the complaint for more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(e) If the delay is more than 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per hour shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforced above as and when delay in job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

M&L Taking down defective centrifugal pump set 100 HP capacity by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at same location, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. The Contractor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required is more than one week. (d) In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be levied from the contractor. (e) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Note :- Chamber Covers shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Material and labour Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materials from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on plastered surfaces and one coat of synthetic paint on steel surfaces complete to make it operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers shall be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearing the bushes trunk girth not exceeding 10 .00 cm and area around valve chambers upto 1.0 mtrs and depositing rubbish at a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point complete all as specified and directed

Over hauling and repair to Chemical Dosing Pump Granual based chloronome plants Range pump house by cleaning the FRP 100/150 Ltrs Tank, and cleaning of filters and NRV , checking and cleaning the delivery pipe line for chocking , cleaning of chlorination plant and maintaining properly including checking the level of oil in the gauge and topping up as and when required, checking the glands and maintain the plant in all respect and replacement of minor spare for smooth functioning of Chlorination Plant all as directed. Note:- The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the cost of replacement of minor spares such as 'O' rings , nut/screws,washers,bolt, cleaning waste , tools for routine day to day maintenance and necessary servicing to keep the plants in running condition on all days including Sunday and holidays, Replacement of other major spares shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, errection of poles and stays in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed .

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and deposting where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness of 18cm shall be considered for payment.

M & L for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road shall be provided as top layer to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Supply and laying in repair of GI pipe light grade for cable protection of size 80mm bore with fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 50 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 95 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour in repair for making straight through joint with suitable jointing kit consisting of water proof adhesives for UG cable of size 3.50 core 95 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tape etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box, complete all as specified and as directed for the cable size from 70 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm 3.5 core of LT underground armoured cables. Note :- Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Supply and fix 4 Pole MCCB, 415 volts, fixed type, 400 Amp, 50 Hz, with rupturing capacity 36 KA with thermal & magnetic setting with extended terminals,replacemenr to LT panel/ Feeder pillar box including connecting lugs with busbar and mounting arrengments i.e screws,bolt, nut, washers incl taking out old unsv complete all as specified and directed. (c) The T&P like JCB, Drill Machine, Moveable Generator etc required for cutting of road shall be arranged by the contractor & no extra cost shall be paid for the same.

Attending complaints for non-functional/ unserviceable street light/perimeter lights/high mast light/flood light etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillars etc) by deploying technically qualified and experienced technicians to find out defects and taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tape to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed at AF Station Jalahalli.

Note : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights in above mentioned DOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA on Daily basis in any weather condition at their own arrangement.

The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to the Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

Contractor or his Authorised Representative has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very regular basis. (Every succeding day)

A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User along with Contractor or his authorised Representative.

Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generator of suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account.

Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipment's to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

Contractor shall provide conveyance to the employed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

Vehicle mounted ladder for maitenance services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

Material required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s) . But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the tradesmen deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Charge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding.

Attending, Repairing/restoring of electric power supply in the CQAE after identifying fault in HT 11 KV or LT 415 volt system, RMU,VCB, LT Panels, two/ four pole structure, transformers, Over head lines in any section or circuit, including checking of insulators, lightning arresters, GODs, LT Panel Boards and all electrical accessories and making it serviceable in all respect including replacement of nut, bolt, washers and minor parts/spares, insulation tapes and cable sockets of any size, complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (i) The above work also include checking, detection and rectifcation of LT/HT UG Cable faults at CQAE (WE) Area as and when directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M).

(vi) In case of minor defect, entire job shall be completed within 02 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ Rs. 300 /- per hours shall be recovered from the contractor.

(vii) The transportation/ T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost shall be paid for the same.

(viii) In case of major defect, the period for attending of complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC by accessing extent of repair required through joint inspection by Engineer-in-Charge and authorised service agent of the equipment at the site. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs.500/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor.

(ix) Note that penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.
