Annual Maintenance to Chembarambakkam Tank and Korattur Anicut for the year 2026 2027

Providing services by engaging Technical Assistant Grade–II, Computer Operator Grade–II and Technical Assistant Grade–III for assisting the departmental engineers in reservoir and dam inspection works, investigation of new works, levelling surveys, hydrographic surveys, discharge observations, operation and maintenance of dam appurtenant structures, reservoir level observations, collection of water, soil and sediment samples, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), estimates, technical reports, AutoCAD drawings, cross-sectional and longitudinal level charts, preparation and typing of official correspondence in Tamil and English, data entry, preparation of Excel spreadsheets, charts and graphical presentations, maintenance of engineering and office records, removal of floating vegetation, water hyacinth, plastic materials, thermocol, wooden logs and other floating debris from the reservoir water spread area, periodical cleaning of regulators, intake structures and trash racks to ensure free flow of water, loading and unloading of survey instruments and departmental materials, and carrying out all other investigation, technical, field, office, operation, maintenance and allied works connected with the dam, reservoir and departmental activities for 8 hours duty per day as directed by the departmental officers
