Providing and Laying 4kg mineral finish APP Modified Membrane of Texsa India Limited. After cleaning of all loose dirt and dust from a pre-sloped surface apply Solvent based bituminous primer @0.3 L per sqm on well sloped and smooth surface. When the primer is dry lay Moply FP 4kg mineral finish. MOPLY FP bituminous membrane with LPG connected torch on method. The membrane should have a weight not less than 4kgs /sqm and have a reinforcement of Polyester. The Tensile strength of the membrane should be 600N/5cm(Longitudinal) and Elongation as more than 35%. The tear resistance should be 100 N in transverse direction. The softening point of the membrane should be >150deg C and cold flexibility of –5deg C .The tear resistance should be 100 N in transverse direction and should pass resistance to aging and UV rays weather-O-meter for 2000 hrs. The side laps and end laps should have an overlap of 3-4inches and it should be thermofused together so that it forms a single sheet all throughout. A proper Gola has to be provided all though out the junction of roof and parapet. If the Parapet is of height < 2 feet than Moply FP 4kg gravel should be taken over the parapet and stuck on parapet. If the parapet is over 2 ft then a groove of size 2 X 2 inches should cut 30 cm over the Gola and the membrane shall be inserted there and sealed off with plaster. For Accessible roof ,Over this any protective layer can be done of either China Mosiac or screeding as directed by EIC.

The entire process should be done as per EIC.
