REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS ETC UNDER AGE B/R (N) NO.II OF GE(N) SECUNDERABAD

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth and not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling screnned graded road metal , watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc. 400 sqm & depth exc. 50mm but not exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep a as in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam (WBM) with coarse aggregates of granite stone of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size), spread, rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 04 above but exept material

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 grade complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 grade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete consolidated thickness 30 mm with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG -30 grade, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc, with mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 Tonne power roller and all as specified and directed.

M&L for approved moorum for berms,etc 10 cm thick (spreading thickness) including spreading, levelling, watering and rolled with hand roller of 0.2 to 0.5 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as directed. NOTE:- Moorum shall be brought from outside MOD land.

M & L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on road surfaces / over speed breakers, pavements and the like exc 10 cm and n. exc 30 cm wide with 2 to 3mm thick thermoplastic road marking paint using automatic road marking spray machine including preparing black top surface by fanning out dust and any other foreign matter complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen any penetration @ 4% by weight of total mix, laid / rolled compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) all as specified and as directed.

S&F Road cat eyes duly fixed with approved adhesive as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Make : 3M of series 290C or equivalent model in Mr. Illumination / Dark eye as approved by GE.
