Maintenance of lawn of grass by watering in dry periods, weeding at frequent intervals to make it weed free, hoeing application of manures, fertilizers, pesticides, sweeping to remove dry leaves & twigs etc.

Maintenance of existing seasonal flower beds by addition of appropriate ratio of soil, compost, pesticides as per guidance of site-in-charge and maintenance of seasonal flower beds by hoeing, weeding, application of manures, fertilizers, pesticides etc.as and when required and watering frequently.

Maintenance of existing perennial flower beds by hoeing, weeding, application of manures, fertilizers, pesticides as and when required, planting of seeds/seedlings and watering frequently.

Maintenance of rose plants by pruning, trimming, weeding the surrounding, application of manure, fertilizers, growth regulants, good soil etc. watering in dry periods and to keep the plants in good blooming condition.

Maintenance of existing shrubs by application of manures, fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulants,good soils, compost etc.as and when required, watering in dry periods , to keep the plants in good blooming condition and making rings around the root zone.

Maintenance of hedge lines by watering, pruning, triming weeding the surrounding, application of manure, fertilizers, growth regulators, good soil etc. watering in dry periods & to keep the hedge plants in luxuriants conditions.

Maintenance of potted plants by application of manures, fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulants,good soils, compost etc. as and when required, watering frequently to keep the plants in good blooming conditions and placing in office Corridors by painting with red #GERU# to the outer side of pot by own arrangement.

Maintenance of grassland (Other than Lawn area) by watering in dry period, removal of broad leaved leaves, thorny plants, application of fertilizers, pesticides and cutting the area in frequent intervals to make it a uniform grassland. Addition of Compost and soil as per direction of Officer-in-charge (compost, soil, fertilizer and pesticides will be supplied by deptt.)

Mowing of total lawn area by using hedge cutter as per instructions of Manager-in-charge & throwing all the generated rubbish in a low lying area within a lead of 50 mtr..

Mowing of lawn area by using own lawn mower followed by disposal of debrishes in the designated area as per instructions of Manager-in-charge.

Shaping of Shrubs, Creepers, to a suitable size as per instructions of Officer-in-charge and disposing off the generated rubbish in low lying areas within a lead of 50 mtr.

Mixing and spreading of Sludge and /or manure and good soil in required thickness over Lawn and rolling with hand roller, as per instruction of Officer-in-Charge (sludge/manure/soil shall be provided by the deptt.)

Maintenance of pots in Nursery by application of manure,fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulants, good soil & compost etc. as and when required, watering frequently to keep the plants in luxuriant conditions.

Maintenance of polythene bags kept in beds after planting of forest sapling in the bags by hoeing, weeding application of manure/ fertilizers & pesticides etc. as and when required and watering frequently (Each 1 sqm area can accommodate around 32 nos. of 12x15, 56 nos. of 8x12 and 134 nos. of 5x10 inch size polythene bags).

Maintenance of prepared raised bed by watering, weeding, application of pesticides etc. as per instructions till initiation of roots and the cutting/seedlings become suitable for planting in polythene bags.

Dressing of green grass/ vegetation by cutting the same with GI wire /Blade and maintaining at a suitable height as per instruction of Officer-in-charge and disposing of the generated rubbish in low lying areas within a lead of 50 mtr.

Fine dressing of the ground by Phowra as per instructions of Officer-in-charge and disposing off the generated rubbish in low lying areas within a lead of 50 mtr.

Development of lawn by planting bule kentuky grass in either direction in rows of 5cm. apart excavating the soil up to a depth of 15 cm. Removal of stones pebbles grasses,unserviceable materials, disposal of the same at a distance of 100 mtr., after addition of good soil, compost/FYM and sand in a ratio of 8:1:1 (apprx.) and levelling, flooding with water followed by frequent weeding, application of fertilizers and pesticides as per the instructions of Officer-in-charge ,and maintenance up to a period of 90 days till the grass will form a thick weed free carpet (A minimum of 120 cum of soil, 15 cum of compost & 15 cum of sand for development of 1000sqm of lawn is to be used from own cost and transportation. Required material except lawn grass for planting is to be arranged by contractor & soil may replace sand in case wherever required.

Development of lawn in pre made field: All the description of work is as per Sl.No.17 except that there is no need of excavation and putting soil. The Cow dung and soil if required will be supplied by the deptt., free of cost. Grass for planting will be supplied by deptt. (No excavation and no materials).

Development of new flower bed :Planting of seeds seedlings at a spacing as instructed by Officer-in-charge ,by excavating the soil up to a depth of 15 cm.,removal of pebbles,stones and such unserviceable materials,disposal of the same at a distance of 100 mtr.,addition of soil,fym/compost in the ratio of 8:2 (approx.),flooding with water followed by frequent weedings ,application of fertilizers and pesticides as per instruction of officer-in-charge and maintenance up to a period of 30 days.(Materials required will be provided by deptt.)

Digging of pit of size 60cm.x 60cm. x 60cm. for planting of shrubs, in all types of soil, removal of unserviceable materials from the dug pit and disposal of the waste within a lead of 100mtr.,refilling the pit with good soil, adding cowdung/ compost, in the ratio of 3:1(approx.) and pesticides, fertilizers followed by watering and planting of trees and maintenance of the same up to a period of 90 days, which includes at least twice soil working, mannuring and watering. Payment shall be made after maintenance of 03 months (All the inputs will be supplied by deptt.).

Development of Hedge line by planting of seeds/seedlings of hedge plant at a spacing as instructed by Officer-in-charge ,by excavating the soil up to a depth of 15 cm.,removal of pebbles,stones and such unserviceable materials,disposal of the same at a distance of 100 mtrs.,addition of soil,fym/compost and sand in a ratio of 8:1:1(approx.), and maintenance up to optimum growth of hedge line (Materials required will be provided by deptt) by watering prunning/trimming weeding the surrounding ,application of mannure,fertilizers and growth regulants,good soil etc.,watering in dry periods and to keep the plants in luxirant conditions and handing it over for monthly maintenance.

Filling of Earthen pots of 12" size after mixing of good earth, cowdung manure & pesticides etc. in the required proportion as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge and placing row & column wise of 20 & 5 for further maintenance after planting of ornamental/foliage plants (Materials required will be provided by deptt. free of cost).

Filling of Earthen pots of 10" size after mixing of good earth, cowdung manure & pesticides etc. in the required proportion as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge and placing row & column wise of 20 & 5 for further maintenance after planting of ornamental/foliage plants (Materials required will be provided by deptt. free of cost).

Filling of Polythene bags of 12" x 15" size after mixing good earth, cowdung manure & pesticides etc. in the required proportion aas per instructions of Engineer-in-charge & placing row & column wise of 20 & 5 for further maintenance after planting of seedling of forest plants (Materials required and sapling will be provided by deptt. free of cost).

Filling of Polythene bags of 8" x 12" size after mixing good earth, cowdung manure & pesticides etc. in the required proportion aas per instructions of Engineer-in-charge & placing row & column wise of 35 & 6 for further maintenance after planting of seedling of forest plants (Materials required and sapling will be provided by deptt. free of cost).

Filling of Polythene bags of 5" x 10" size after mixing good earth, cowdung manure & pesticides etc. in the required proportion aas per instructions of Engineer-in-charge & placing row & column wise of 80 & 10 for further maintenance after planting of seedling of forest plants (Materials required and sapling will be provided by deptt. free of cost).

Preparation of raised beds by excavating the soil up to a depth of 10 cm, removal of pebbles, stones and such unserviceable distance of 100 mtr. Addition of soil, fym, pesticides to a height of 5 cms above the ground level as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. Planting of seeds/cuttings for root initiation, watering frequently, application of fertilizers and pesticides as per instructions & maintenance up to a period of 01 month.

Edging with bricks in horizontal way in length wise including excavation, refilling, consolidating with hand packing, and spreading neatly, the surplus earth within a lead of 50 mtr.(Materials required will be provided by deptt. free of cost.)

Assistance of USW well conversant with Horticultural jobs for carrying out various miscellaneous hort. jobs as per requirement with tools & tackles at the time of emergency requirement.

Assistance of SSW well conversant with Horticultural jobs for carrying out various miscellaneous hort. jobs as per requirement with tools & tackles at the time of emergency requirement.

Supply of & stacking of good quality cowdung manure free from foreign materials like stones, pebbles, broken glass, dry glass/straw etc. at Contractors own transportation to the spot as per instruction of Officer-in-charge.

Supply & stacking of good quality soil (not from Nalco's area) at Contractors own transportation to the work site as per instruction of Officer-in-charge.

Supply of 12" good quality earthen pots.

Supply of 10" good quality earthen pots.

Supply & stacking of good quality kiln burnt bricks of 50 B designated for use as curve line around lawn & flower beds.

Supply of polythene pockets of specific size as designed by EIC.

Supply of 12" dia plastic pots of brickred colour for holding potted plants including cost of transportation to store.

Supply 10" dia plastic base for placing below potted plants.

Lime painting in the brick edging around the flower bed and the lawn area including the cost of lime & brush.

Painting of Iron grill/ horticulture features like arches, pergolas etc. with two coats of enamel paint after painting of primer (Materials required for painting like primer, iron paper, enamel paint, primer and all tools & tackles are to be supplied by dept.)

Painting of tree trunk up to a height of 1500mm from ground level with lime and termicide mixture like a band around the trunk (Lime,Robin blue and brush are to be purchased by contractor and he has to add robin blue in the lime mixture as per requirement for a better look)Termicide if required will be given by deptt. free of cost.

Disposal of garbage to a low lying area within a lead of 1 Km radius by departmental Tractor.

Collection of unbroken & Burned refractory fire bricks from the Scrap yard of Smelter plant and unloading in the area within a lead of 2.5 km, as per instructions of Officer- in-charge. Tractor with trolley will be provided by Deptt. free of cost.

Making garden path of 1 mt. Width by swelling the area with burned refractory fire bricks after cleaning and leveling by fine dressing and filling the gaps of bricks with sand. Rough plastering of the area with Cement and sand mortar prepared as per instruction of Officer-in-charge and watering the area for a minimum period of seven days. (Required material will be provided by deptt.free of cost).
