Providing and fixing black steel pipes for internal hydrant & sprinkler piping to I.S 1239 (Heavy class) including all fittings like couplings, bends, elbows unions, fees, flanges as per table 'E' reducers, offsets etc., making connections required including cutting holes and chases in brick or RCC walls and making good comlpete. After completion of the piping work the entire pipe line will be hydrauricaaly tested for a pressure of 10kg/cm2 for a period of 48 hours. The final pipe line will be painted with two or more specifications over one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer including necessary surface preparation complete. PUMPS AND ACCESSORIES

Supply, installation,testing and commissioning of electrically driven high pressure centrifugal fire hydrant/sprinkler pump, suitable for automatic operation consicting of the following:

a. End suction centrifugal pumps, suitable for operation on 415 volts ±6%, 3 phase, 50 hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling and ccoupling guard as required. Fire pump shall have CI casing, CS diffusers, bronze impeller (hard finised and dynamically balanced) and SS (304) shaft with machanical seal, capable for delivering 2250 LPM at outlet head 70mts to ensure a minimum pressure of 3.5kg/sqcm at the farthest or topmost hydrant/sprinkler. The installtion shall be complete with necessary pressure guage with gun metal shut off cock on delivery side (The pump should be tested and assembled for bench mark at factory).

b. Pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% of rated capacity at a head of not less than 65% of the rated head. The shut off head shall not exceed 120% of rated head.

c. Squirrel cage induction motor, TEFC type suitable for operation on 415volts, 3 phase 50Hz A.C supply for the above pump with synchronous speed of 2900 RPM, conforming to IP 55 protection & class F insulation. The motor shall conform to IS 325-1978 (upto date) with flexible coupling and coupling guard, complete as required.

d. Common base plate for (a) and (b) from M.S. Channel for required size.

e. Suitable cement concrete foundation with cement concrete plaster (design and drawing to be provided by the Contractor which will be duly approved by the consultant before construction) complete with anti-vibration arrangement of cushy foot mountings.

f. The rate includes interconnecting cables, foundations & foundation bolts.

Supply, installation,testing and commissioning of deisel engine driven fire pump suitable for automatic operation comprising of the following and conforming to BS 649/IS 10002 all amended upto date.

a. End suction centrifugal pumps, suitable for operation on 415 volts ±6%, 3 phase, 50 hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling and coupling guard as required. Fire pump shall have CI casing, CS diffusers, bronze impeller (hard finised and dynamically balanced) and SS (304) shaft with machanical seal, capable for delivering 2250 LPM at outlet head 70mts to ensure a minimum pressure of 3.5kg/sqcm at the farthest or topmost hydrant/sprinkler. Radiator cooled diesel engine of speed 1800 RPM suitable for the above pump with automatic starting mechanism and other accessories including fuel tank (fabricated from 3mm MS sheet, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer) of capacity adequate to sustain pump operation fo 8 hours continuous working. The tank shall be fitted with magnetic oil lever indicator, MH with cover, drain valve, air vent including structural supports (painted with approved shade) 2 nos. x 12 volts battery, flexible coupling, coupling guard & exhaust pipe connection complete as required.

d. Common base plate for (a) and (b) from M.S. Channel for required size.

e. Suitable cement concrete foundation with cement concrete plaster (design and drawing to be provided by the Contractor which will be duly approved by the consultant before construction) complete with anti-vibration arrangement of cushy foot mountings.

The pump head and base shall be CI GG20 construction and impellers, diffusers, shaff sleeve, seal bush & pump shaff shall be in $$ 304 material capable of delivering 2250 LPM.The pump shall be provided with mechanical seal. The system shall be complete with necessary pressure guage with gun metal shut off cock on delivery side. (The pump should be tested and assembled for bench mark at factory)

b. Squirrel cage induction motor TEFC type for operation on 415 V, 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply for the above pump with a synchronous speed of 2900 R.P.M. with flexible coupling and coupling guard etc. as reqd.

c. Common base plate for (a) and (b) from M.S. Channel for required size.

d. Suitable cement concrete foundation with cement concrete plaster (design and drawing to be provided by the Contractor which will be duly approved by the consultant before construction) complete with anti-vibration arrangement of cushy foot mountings.
