Opening the front and rear cabinate of the RMU 3way/5way, 630/800 Amps, 11 KV de-carbonizing moving and fixed contacts if required, lubricating, checking the pressure of SF-6 gas, inspecting the wiring of micro processor EF/OC relay including replacement of unserviceable parts, tripping coil electrical and checking for manual/auto tripping system complete and placing the SF-6 VCB and isolating unit in its original position vomplete all as specified and directed. 'Notes:(i ) The repair work shall be carried out by authorised service Engineer of MERLIN GERIN/ SCHNEIDER . (i) The various unsv items required to be replaced shall be paid seperately under item No. 1.01 to 1.09 here-in - after (ii) Calibration of relays shall be paid seperately under item No. 2

Supply only plug in type voltage presence indicator system (VPIS) type WIM for 11 KV, RMU complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only fuse for SF-6 Ring Main unit, 11 KV by opening fuse canisters of RMU positioned behind interlocking cover complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only terminal contact piece with silicone coupling for SF-6 Ring Main unit 11 KV by opening the terminal cover complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only pressure indicator manometer for SF-6 Ring Main unit 11 KV by opening the front cover complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only ring type current transformer 100/1 Amps for SF-6 Ring Main unit 11 KV by opening the cable compartment cover of fixed the CT on cable elbow plug/T plug complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only ring type current transformer 50/1 Amps for SF-6 Ring Main unit 11 KV by opening the cable compartment cover of fixed the CT on cable elbow plug/T plug complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only SF-6 gas in safe ring/safe plus by SF-6 gas bottle by removing front cover and on screw manometer and reduction valve and maintained the pressure 14 bar absolute complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only trifurication boot 11 KV capacity for cable termination joint of RMU incoming and outgoing terminals including taking out old defective trifurcation boot complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only HT bushing with gasket for SF-6 Ring main unit 11 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Callibration of microproccessor E/F and O/C relay of RMU complete and calibrating with portable relay test kit to set time and fault level and adjustment of setting with according to load & time with main Tech area power house incl replacement of relay battery for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed. Note: The repair work shall be carried out by authorised service Engineer of MERLIN GERIN/ SCHNEIDER .

Supply & fixing in replacement of earth fault protection and indicator relay for Ring main unit including callibrating the relay with provision of artificial load and caliberation report shall be submitted by the contractor on completion of the work under this item. Make:-Crompton Model EMG-1.

M&Lfor earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground, vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick and packed layers of charcoal, dust and common salt, earth lead GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and of earth strip protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 15mm bore and water pipe 20 mm bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh complete including excavation and earth work, PCC chamber and cover in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in lieu of CI cover and frame etc all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 (Part-I). Note :-The earth value/result should be less than 5 ohms.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc 1.50 mtrs wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr deep and getting out for taking out/laying cable pole & stay etc including taking out old precast concrete cover complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of sand (8cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying the cable ie total 23 cm and after punning down sand cushioning will be 18 cm complete all as specified and directed. Note : 18 cm consolidated thickness shall only be considered for payment purpose.

M&L for precast concrete cover class HV type-1, flat size 300mmx180mmx40mm laid in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only old but serviceable precast concrete cover class HV type-I, flat size 300 mm X 180 mm X 40 mm in trenches for cable protection with cable cover retrieved from excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning in replacement trenches /passing through pipes/ on poles etc cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts, grade of size of cable 300 sqmm 3 core suitable for earthed system including taking out unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earth work, Sand cushioning and precast concrete cover shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch. ‘A’

M&L for defect rectification of HT 11 KV cable laid in trenches by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator pulse, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc.including and additional excavation in normal available strata required for exposing the cable fault removal of deteriorated portion of cable treating of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cable of size up to 185 Sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The fault locating equipments will be brought at site within an hours of instruction from Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and jointing cold shrinkable straight through joint with jointing material suitable for HT 11KV XLPE cable of size 240 to 400 Sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and jointing cold shrinkable end termination outdoor joint with jointing material suitable for HT 11KV XLPE cable of size 120 to 185 Sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and jointing cold shrinkable end termination indoor joint with jointing material suitable for HT 11 KV XLPE cable of size 240-300 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out trolley of vacuum circuit breaker 630/800 Amps,11 KV from the cabinet and opening top cover, de-carbonizing moving and fixed contacts if required, lubricating, inspecting the wiring of Micro processor EF/OC relay, tripping coil electrical and checking for manual/auto tripping system complete and placing back the breaker trolley in its original position complete all as specified and directed.
